We wanted to buy locally as we live in a rural area, and hoped to find a place that could deliver and install the oven without needing a separate contractor. A word about Steve ... this is one of the nicest business owners I have ever met. He ordered exactly what we wanted, gave us a great price on it, and installed it himself. He took great care getting the gas line correctly installed (even going so far as to lengthen the line that the previous owners of our home had made pretty short). It was discovered during the installation that the Maytag we bought had a few small problems from the factory, like a few small scratches on the oven handle, and it had been shipped with the wrong grill cover. It fit, and was fully functional, but he let us know that it was wrong, and would get a replacement for us from the factory. We would not have noticed on our own. He also ordered a new handle for us, even though the scratches were very superficial and cosmetic. A little later, we discovered that the convection oven fan was stuck, and Steve came out to check it out,and promptly ordered us a new one. He also provided us with a workaround to get it to work in the meantime, during the holiday cooking season. All in all, I've never been more impressed with a company's customer service. If you're in the Grantsburg/Luck/Milltown/Saint Croix Falls area, you should buy from Steve. He stands behind his products, and treats you as a valued customer *after* the sale, which to us, is the true measure of a great store.

Promised the refrigerator would be delivered the following Friday and today is Wednesday and we still don't have the refrigerator. I understand things happen but we have to call them every day to check on the status. Not thrilled with their customer service or price. Need a wall oven and new counter top stove too but probably won't purchase from this store.

I have used him twice, very efficient ,readily available and explained everything he did. The first…read moretime he installed my gas stove when we built our solid log cabin in Voyager Village in 2020. Stove worked beautifully. The 2nd was most recently when our dryer kicked out the breaker as it was brand new we thought there was a malfunction on part of the dryer. So when the technician came out he found out that the outlet had been wired wrong by our electrician(ABI Electric). Then the electrician who wired it came out and tries to tell me it was a faulty outlet. That was NOT true. The appliance repairman told me he checked the outlet and it should have read 240 but didn't. So now we caught him(ABI) in a bold face lie. Not only was he incompetent but a liar. Thank goodness we have honest people who report the situation as it really is so we can deal with our issues when we need people who do their job and not cover up their mistakes by lying.
