The staff here were just great and helped me out with an annoying problem with my phone at zero notice. They were unfailing polite about it too. Real 5 star place. I'm an apple fan. I've all the technology I need and it's fantastic kit. I also grumble about poor service and what I see as their staff being unhelpful especially in the Orlando store where the 'rules' on selling new phones were so bizarre in 2022 they could not sell me the new phone I wanted and had near $2000 to give them. I mean they overturned precisely the maxim of what retail is about - the art of selling goods that don't come back to customers that do. I've an old Apple iPhone that I will upgrade this winter in the UK (for the first time ever) but it works perfectly well, it serves me well and I no longer need state of the art sophistication but compromise is sensible as the pace of technological change is remarkable - a sophisticated computer in your pocket. Yesterday was my first ever time attending an Apple Store and what an awesome experience it was to! After contacting online agents about my cracked iPhone 6S screen, I was told I would need to go to my nearest Apple Store for a replacement screen. Upon arriving I must admit I didn't know that I was meant to "check in" in the middle of the store. But a member of staff was kind enough to sign me in at the Genius Bar anyway. Within ten minutes my iPhone was booked in and we were given a waiting time of 2 hours so went off shopping. Came back 2 hours later and my phone was handed back to me good as new. Was all that simple even on such a busy Saturday running up to Christmas. Possibly the best custom service I've ever received. read more

Went to the Apple Store Genius Bar in Bath with faulty IPhone 5S 32gb. Fault was a repeated panic on the phone. Phone was out of warranty so Apple would only offer an out of warranty replacement (£200). To an extent I understand their position however what I didn't understand is that the Genius representative stated that this is not a common problem and certainly nothing to do with their manufacturing process. As a retailer of 2nd hand phones and laptops especially Apple we have had realistically 6 similar issues with Iphones in the last couple of months and we aren't a massive shop. A couple of days ago a disabled friend of mine visited Apple store in Bath to ask for assistance to change his SIM card as he couldn't get the back off his IPhone 6. This gentleman is paralysed on his right-hand side so manipulating the back off his phone is a job he cannot manage. He also has a severe speech problem(aphasia) so took a note with him asking for assistance. The young lady he approached said no she couldn't help and sent him on his way. He walked around and found O2 shop who helped him. Now it maybe company policy to not take the backs off phones, but this gentleman has complex needs and not to help him was unkind and shows lack of empathy. read more
