Apple's newest location out of the stores they have in Paris is located on the iconic Champs-Élysées, this replaced one of my favourite Apple Store's outside of the UK and US in the Louvre - from one iconic location to another.
Apple Store's have changed drastically during the COVID-19 pandemic and in the aftermath, in France, The UK and the US I've noticed the following
- Compulsory masks - if you are exempt/refuse to wear one you will be denied entry
- Compulsory hand gel on arrival
- You must queue separately for the store or Genius Bar, state why you want to enter the store and be escorted in by a staff member
- Temperature checks, if you display a high temperature you will be banned from entering (again Paris is really hot especially in the Summer, often coming close or topping 100 degrees Fahrenheit so is temperature really a good way of testing here?)
The store staff seem friendly, they followed policy by a staff member escorting me in after a short wait outside, after he helped with my question he was happy to just leave me to it and take a look around the store, as I was able to relax and check my emails in the Today At Apple area which still had some seating.
The part of the store with some Apple devices seemed a little small but the interior of the exterior of the store both remained stunning.
Prices are slightly cheaper for devices compared to back home in the UK too!
