We originally contracted with Michael back in October for our project to begin in the Spring once the weather permitted. It became more urgent when I was sent home from the hospital in early March with terminal cancer. They told me - here's your palliative doctor and pain pills and I was sent home with absolutely NO knowledge of when I was leaving this Earth. I asked and pleaded with Michael to please finish my job before I die. He told me he would do his best. The guy is busy for a reason - They Do Excellent Work! We had a couple unexpected issues during the project, but Michael made sure they were remedied before proceeding. Just a couple minor things and the job will be complete and I'm still alive. The company and their workmanship is beyond belief and exceeded my expectations. I actually cried when I saw the finished product. Before any work began, we cancelled in writing on May 11 and May 12, 2026, and specifically told him not to place orders, make purchases, apply for permits, schedule work, or perform work. No work was performed at our property. Since then, we have repeatedly asked for the deposit back. Trevor repeatedly promised updates, a check, Zelle payment, or bank/account arrangements, including saying a check would be dropped off June 2 and later saying payment would be ready June 17. As of July 7, 2026, he has not returned any of the $7,000. I have the quote, deposit receipts, bank/Zelle proof, text messages, and call logs documenting this. I also filed a complaint with the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs, which confirmed that my complaint is under review. I am sharing this so other homeowners are careful before paying a large deposit.
