I had been hounding my landlord for years to clean up the property, thinking it was affecting mine and my neighbors business. I took a look at my lease, and found out that all landscaping is MY RESPONSIBILITY!!! At first I was upset this would cost me money, but realized this was a blessing in disguise as I now had full control over the most important marketing for a barbershop, a beautiful and welcoming entrance for old and new customers. I'm not a landscaping expert, so I was both picky and vague (I'm such a great client ;-), but Mike fully understood and delivered on what I wanted: 1. Save all the trees that weren't dying. 2. Trim down any tree limbs/shrubbery blocking the historic building and signage for mine and my neighbors shops. 3. Make it pretty/clean (they power washed the building and sidewalks too!).
