All staff v v friendly and helpful. Food came out hot, not take long at all, AppleBee's impressed. We were there and there was maybe 5 tables that had customers. Could not get any service. Never saw a waitress or no one to serve us beverages. So we left no one said anything to us as we were leaving. This is the second bad review I have posted. Talked to district manager last time and told me he has no problems here. After the third time of trying to order food to go, on separate occasions, all three times something has been incorrect and half of the food items were less quantity than what you would typically receive if dining in. Our order tonight was 1 Oriental Chicken Salad, a small Side Caesar Salad, side of Fries, and Kids Alfredo pasta. The total was a few cents shy of $35.00, not including the tip. The salads were standard salads. However, the fries were barely warm and only about half an order included. Also, the kids pasta that cost almost $6 was literally barely a cup full, and the extra Parmesan sauce that cost $3.99 was maybe a few tablespoons (see photos). On our past experiences, we have been shorted on spinach dip and items completely left out of the order. The only reason for 2 stars is because I do like their spinach dip and club sandwich, when they can get it right. Take my advice and check your order if you do curbside pickup!!! read more

Ordered a sirloin because the picture in the menu looked so good. Did the 2 for $25 and got an order of onion rings as our "appetizer" that come with the meals. Told them the steak was not edible and I did not want a replacement meal because it had made me sick to my stomach trying to eat. Got our ticket for the full price anyway so we asked for it to be taken off. Got a new ticket and they charged me for the sides separately that were also untouched. Got a third ticket and finally had my meal removed but charged us for the full price of the onion ring appetizer so it was only $5 of a discount to have my meal taken off by the time they added the appetizer on there. My to-go order was also wrong and completely disgusting. Will never go back as my food is always wrong or not edible every time I'm there. Super frustrated that we paid almost $40 for a chicken finger plate and onion ring appetizer that was included with our 2 for $25.. hopefully they will remove the steak and never bring it back because that steak is an embarrassment to all cows. read more

We ordered the bourbon steak and it was amazing! The mashed potatoes were probably some of the best I've ever had. Our waitress Tabitha R was exceptional and very friendly and attentive. She herself deserves 5 stars. I was a little worried about coming here because of some of the other reviews but this place was definitely somewhere I'd return and eat again! There was no wait and we received our food very fast. 10/10 would recommend coming to this Applebee's location and asking for Tabitha R, she was so kind and worked so hard the entire time of our meal to ensure our food was satisfying and served to our expectation. read more

While the service may be iffy at times, the food is delectable. My friend and I always get the 2 for $20 deal and split it down the middle, leaving us with a $10 meal plus tip to pay. For an appetizer plus 2 entrees, that's a phenomenal deal, especially when the food is so good. Our favorite to get is the spinach and artichoke dip and the three cheese chicken penne. The waitresses are speedy with getting the appetizer to you well before your meal comes, so you finish right as your meal is ready. the taste of the food was amazing. My steak was a little over cooked in some places, but it was really good. I really enjoyed my first experience with Applebee's. I got it delivered through DoorDash it was a little bit expensive not something you can do every day with delivery fees an appetizer main course and dessert was $60 little rich for my taste. They need to have better delivery options and deals for people unlimited income I would recommend cullman Applebee's I look forward to eating there again, hopefully read more

So very disappointed in this location. I'll leave out the formalities and get the reason for 1 star. I was in for lunch today and ordered the full rack of ribs with the honey bbq sauce. When my order arrived I took 1 bite and knew something was wrong. The sauce was EXTREMELY spicy. I asked the server (Kayla) if the honey sauce is now spicy. She said no, they must have put on the Thai Chili sauce instead. No big deal, I gave the plate back and waited. By the time it arrived, my wife was already done with her meal and I finished off a plate of mozzarella sticks, cole slaw and some fries. I asked that it be packed to go for me. Again, at this point I was fine. I just figured I'd have a good dinner. Sadly, that's where things go wrong. When I tried the ribs at dinner, they still had a real spicy kick. I had my mother in law try them (she HATES spicy food) She had to spit it out. What we figured they did was wipe down the rack I sent back and covered them with the honey sauce. Guess where we'll never dine again? Had lunch at Applebee's in Cullman, and they have these "convenient" little tablets at the table that you can choose to use to pay for your meal. They didn't bother to tell us that they already added $1.99 to the bill to use it (I wonder if they would've removed that charge if we'd chosen to have the waitress take the card or paid in cash?). At the bottom of the receipt are suggested gratuities of 15%, 18% and 20% and what they would be in addition to the total and what those amounts would be. The trouble with all of this is that this receipt was presented BEFORE using the tablet. There was NO WAY to choose which gratuity amount to give. As a result, our card was charged AUTOMATICALLY with the 20% gratuity PLUS an extra 85 cents. Our service was good, the waitress was a sweet girl, but unfortunately, because we were overcharged BEFORE using the tablet and had no way to choose one of the three suggested gratuity amounts, or set our own amount, which would've been higher, that nice waitress lost out on a much larger tip and Applebee's just lost some customers. read more

I usually love Applebees, but this was a wash the ribs were awful were chewy almost like eating salted rubber. The dry rub tasted like salt and sugar. Green beans were really good. A whole snap bean cooked in bacon and the mashed potatoes were good. read more

Quesadilla Burger - nice twist to a Cheeseburger for lunch - good flavor - served with French Fries - ordered it as take out but decided to eat at bar - server / bar tender (Lindsey H.) said no problem what was your drink - Coca-Cola - good flavor with right amount of carbonation. The burger came few minutes later and was as good as I have had at other Applebee's restaurants - Fries fresh and hot - finished with Brownie Bite and scoop of ice cream - just right size and served hot with hot fudge on it and the ice cream scoop plus can't beat price of $1.49 for dessert - great service too didn't have to ask for refill - server / bar tender filled before had to ask. Will definitely return to eat here again. Used phone app to order food - nice to order ahead so that food is ready when get to restaurant. read more

Been there twice since they opened. First visit they were on the busy side and forgot to bring my daughters food. Ruins my meal when I have to try to hunt down a server to ask twice where her food was and deal with a hungry grouchy kid. Our appetizers came before the main and both were good. Service was a bit slow. Server was pleasant. Second visit it was not busy at all. Ordered an appetizer and didn't get it until after our mains came and only after asking where it was. Took a long time to get the app after asking where it was. Got the app without any sauce, had to wait for server to reappear to ask for sauce and took about 10 minutes to get some ranch dressing after that. Our mains were just ok. I am not impressed with this Applebee's. The service was slow however the servers are pleasant. I like Applebee's overall but not in a big rush to go back to this one. read more

Called an hour in advance and ordered takeout, they were out of the meat for my tacos and didn't call until 10 minutes before i had to pick it up my order and tell me that so i had to pick something else. I sat in the parking lot for 15 extra minutes and that was 15 minutes of my lunch. I didn't have time to eat and the steak wasn't cooked properly. Won't be wasting my money here again. Came late in the evening on a weeknight. Hostess and servers all friendly. Seated immediately and waiter showed up shortly after. Took our orders and we received food in about 10-15 min. I ordered steak and husband ordered riblets. Food was as expected and cooked to order. :) Four stars instead of five because the staff were yelling to each other across the restaurant (prob because it was less crowded) but still a bit unnerving this late at night to someone with five kids at home who is out for a quiet date night with hubby. I'm not the biggest fan of Applebee's, I'll be the first to admit. But every time I've eaten here I've had absolutely no issues. The food was always good (especially their broccoli cheddar soup and hamburger egg rolls), the service was great, above and beyond really. So all in all, I'd recommend eating here. :) read more

I had the hamburger quesadilla with fries. Talk about biting into a little bit of heaven. The sauce is tasty and the burger just big enough to satisfy your hunger. I had the salmon plate which is a low cal meal. I understand that it is a low cal meal but you might want to check with the 245 pound man ordering and make sure he knows he is ordering about 4 forks full of food and then enjoy your wonderful strawberry lemonade lol! It was delicious but then I was scavenging on everyone else's. The macaroni and chicken dish wasn't bad. About a week later, I am looking over the online banking and she changed her tip to $15. hum... So at this point, this has made me mad, I call the restaurant and speak to manager and he is rude and he knows that server and she would never blah blah. hes going to pull receipts. Then he calls back and says it was not changed and blah blah blah.. at this point, I am livid. it wasn't about the money.. it was about the forgery. I ordered a garden salad, wanting something healthy. It came with bacon all over it, which I do not eat. Nowhere on the menu does it say their garden salad comes with bacon. They also don't have a single entree that doesn't come with meat. Not even a pasta dish. I'll stick to Ruby Tuesday or Domino's for better food or something I can eat. read more

This was my third time there. I was hoping for improvement from previous two visits but I was sadly disappointed. Won't go again. Nothing satisfying about the meal. Service is slow, with no follow up on quality of meal. Restaurant layout is bad, noisy, no lobby area. All three visits there we had problems with meals either wrong items delivered, poor food quality (cold or lacking ingredients, tasted bad). I have had great meals at other Applebee's but not here. I had already visited there twice before & was overall happy with my experience. until yesterday. We had a party of about 18, called ahead & everything. we were assigned 1 waitress that kept taking off on us & I would repeatedly have to ask the hostess or another staff member that was walking by "where'd our waitress go?". one end of our table got their appetizers before the other end even got the drink orders in. she was very slow at taking our orders. would take 2 peoples order & leave. then come back & go to the next person. So by the time the food was coming out, some people were done before others even got there food..I was on the end of the table & was one of the last ones that got to order & was the dead last at getting my food..by that point, I had already called the manager over & they gave me the excuse that another wait staff had gotten MY order & took it to another table, so they had to make me another one..i was so aggravated by that point, that I was just ready to get it, eat & leave, because most of our party was already standing up, mingling around, because they were DONE with their meal...I will NOT be back to this location... read more
