I honestly can't say anything negative. It's not a fine dining restaurant but I have experienced all of the negative reviews left. HOWEVER, the last 2 times I've been here for lunch my husband and I were pleased. Our waitress was helpful, kind and quick to get our needs. Our food was both hot and tasted fresh and was well prepared & cooked. The chips did taste oily but it wasn't unbearable and we were able to eat it either way. I think you should give it a lunch visit because lunch is always good. I'm not sure about dinner hour. read more

I don't think I have ever posted a one star review. This is probably the next Applebee's to close. If the franchisee is reading this (and they should be), shame on you for letting it get to this point, but I'm sure you must be aware of the downward spiral you are in. Three of us total came here on a work trip from out of town. We were excited to see an Applebee's, because all three of them in our area of northwest Arkansas have closed. There were only three tables seated at dinner time. First clue. I asked our server what kind of fish is in the fish and chips. She said she didn't know. I ordered it anyway, but I substituted mashed potatoes instead of fries. My colleagues both ordered fries with their orders. My fish came out with fries instead of mashed potatoes. The fish was a little overdone in the fryer. The fries were done but didn't look bad. I mentioned I had the mashed potatoes. Our server recognized the mistake. She said she would be back with mashed potatoes.... But instead she came back with an empty plate and TOOK THE FRIES OFF MY PLATE. I'm like um ok I mean I didn't order them, but what the heck?! One of my colleagues' plate came out a few minutes later, and it looked like the same fries..... ok so they clearly accidentally gave me his fries. But then they put them on his plate after they took them from me?! Then the other's came out with fries but it was clearly a different batch that weren't fried so much. And I still didn't have my mashed potatoes or tartar sauce she promised. I sat there with four sad pieces of overly fried fish for a long time just waiting on tartar sauce and mashed potatoes. I told my coworkers that the time had almost passed that if they didn't come out within a minute I wasn't paying. I wasn't planning on causing a scene. I simply was not going to eat and was not going to pay. Magically the tartar sauce and the mashed potatoes came out at the same time. The tartar sauce could have come out way before the potatoes so I could have been at least trying to enjoy the fish. I only ate half and took half to go because the other two were done way before I could even eat half. Lazy, lousy service from someone who clearly doesn't give a crap about her job. By the way, the fish was cod, I think, and would have been pretty good if not overdone. read more

There were very few customers when we go there around 615. That should have been the first clue. We had to wait for the hostess to wipe off a table for us. She took us to several tables and they were all dirty. When we finally sat down there was food on the seats and behinds it. This is a very dirty restaurant. The hostess complained that days does that to her all the time. We placed our order. Me ordered chips and queso. Worst queso that I've ever had. It was like warm and just looked like they melted some shredded cheese. It had a terrible flavor almost like it was bad. Sent it back. We ordered our drinks. My wife got her iced tea with no issues. I ordered a draft beer. When the waiter brought my wife her tea,he brought me a glass of water because the bartender still had not poured my beer. This was at least 10 minutes. My wife go her quesadilla burger and it was under done. I did not get my chicken sandwich. I cancelled my beer when he brought my wife's order. This was another 15 minutes. The table behind us had asked for a manager because they had issues. Maher never came. I went to the hostess and said I need to talk to a manager and stood there. Finally saw the manager walk with a waitress in the corner. I followed them and asked if she was the manager. Told her that she has a dirty restaurant and what had transpired with the bad tasting food and only getting half our order. Told her that we should not have to pay. She said they were having computer issues and as long as we didn't have any alcohol that was fine. The waiter brought my sandwich in a container. This Applebees is run down and needs an upgrade/remodel. They also got rid of Happy Hour half off appetizers from 9am-midnight. All our food came out at different times. Wife ordered a margarita which she never did receive. We ordered the wonton tacos. They brought them to us with only chicken on them. They said they were out of coleslaw We asked to add lettuce instead since they were out of coleslaw. That never made it out to our table as well. Boneless wings however were good. The waiter seemed to be the only one working so I applaud him for keeping up the tables. It wasn't packed but being the only one taking care of multiple tables can become a lot. The food was so regular I ordered the chicken Alfredo and it tasted like something out of a bag that was already premade from the chicken to pasta sauce. At home I usually make homemade Alfredo and get it quite frequently from other restaurants and this was by far the worst I've tasted it taste just like the knorr pasta side Alfredo out of the bag. My children ordered the kids pizza and that was something that was probably put in the microwave and slapped on a plate and it tasted a little freezer burnt. I won't be returning anytime soon but as I said in the beginning the waiter did great but that food was not made with any love. Applebee's is one of those places I go out of convenience. Usually in an airport or off the side of the highway, not a place I will go out of my way to eat. The food and the service are average basically across the board. You know what you're getting when you go to Applebee's. Then this place happened to me. Stopped here on a work trip for lunch. As soon as you open the door, you are met with an odd smell. Almost like poorly cleaned mold. One of the hosts was wearing adidas workout clothes, had earphones in, and reeked of weed. The waitress was nice but inattentive. Food was what you would expect. I asked for malt vinegar and got packets that were gross (see pic).
