After initially wanting to purchase a completed home (the thought of building on a vacant lot was somewhat daunting) we ended up purchasing a vacant property and are about to start building. From beginning to end SP R&R carefully and meticulously held our hands through every step. On the first day that we walked into their office, Nathaniel met us for lunch and explained the entire process in detail. His patient and comprehensive replies to every question convinced us that we were in good hands and dealing with an agency of outstanding integrity. Not only did our agent Fernando have the patience of a saint while we dithered and changed course on our purchase options but he arranged property surveys, provided information on utility availability, came with us to meet with architects and builders and even helped us open a bank account in Puerto Vallarta. At the time of closing, we were not able to be in SP ourselves but had no hesitation in giving power of attorney to Nathaniel to act on our behalf. It is difficult to exaggerate our appreciation for the entire team at SP R&R all of whom we now consider good friends.

My clients wanted some high quality "final" images to send to their families to showcase my work. Needless to say I wanted the best in business and I came across her work. The first photo I ran into was this breathtaking photo she took in Sedona. Needless to say I was blown away at her ability to work with natural light and with color. I didn't know how she managed to come up with these photos, but I hope to someday put her work all over my walls in my home. I met her a few years ago in Los Angeles. She helped me with a few clients (who were blown away with her skill) and her affordable rates. She was extremely cheerful and professional, and gave each of my clients exactly what they were looking for, trim and responsive work with a fast turnaround time. I even asked her to take a headshot for me. This was kinda cool because I've never had a professional headshot before. She found the perfect spot outside of my home with the perfect light and took a series of poses. What was cool was she was able to make my ugly mug look good. Which is something considering i'm not movie star. I love working with her and hope to hire her again in the future. I recommend her highly and hope you get to enjoy see her in action. It's something to behold.

There are at least 30 other agencies in puerto vallarta or nuevo vallarta that can help you. Look at other reviews about them they say the same thing. We started our search looking at homes from Bucerias to Zona Romantica not knowing where we wanted to be located. He showed us homes in person and via FaceTime and was very patient with us. We quickly realized that Mike had taken the time to understand our wants, needs, and budget. After many months of searching with Mike's help and knowledge of the areas he lead us to the perfect home. As we started negotiations with the owner this is when Mike truly stood out. He kept us fully informed of the process and what he and his team were doing for us. As first time buyers in Mexico, Mike was quick to answer any questions we had and was proactive with needed information along the way which helped to make the process as stress free as possible. With his guidance, perseverance, and efficiency we got a great price for the property and at a timeline we could work within. Mike Hinrichsen and Boardwalk Realty PV are an exceptional real estate team in PV. I would highly recommend you put your dream of a home in paradise into their capable, trustworthy hands.

Not only has Aimee been here for 20 years, her background as an Expat made me feel immediately safe and in good hands. After researching buying property in PV and Mexico in general , I had a lot of trepidation concerning the buying process due to other stories of people not fortunate enough to have a reputable company such as Boardwalk Reality to help them. Having bought and sold five homes in the United States over the years as well as working in business lending and real estate I was truly impressed with how easily Aimee navigated the complexity of a cross border purchase. The Notary that was chosen was of extremely high quality and high competence and the Escrow agent as well was flawless in their handling of my transaction. The process was well documented and since I was purchasing my home while being out of Mexico, Aimee worked as my proxy to ensure the home inspection was done and that the entire process was seamless for me. At closing of escrow there were no surprises and everything was exactly as presented during the offer process. In the weeks following the close , Aimee spent her personal time to help me convert utilities into my name and helped me follow up on residency assistance among other tasks that I would have had difficulty doing without her help. I highly recommend Boardwalk Realty and Aimee Jewell for making my dream a reality.

5 NIGHTS OF PERFECTION (ALMOST)…read more I just got back from a 5 night stay at the SoHo Residents and I'm still daydreaming about the views. I got a 1 bedroom apartment that could be converted into a 2 bedroom via murphy bed and sliding door wall. The unit was on the 9th floor and was equipped with ample closet space, a full kitchen, and a washer and dryer. The check-in process was a bit "clunky" compared to the US check-in processes, but after visiting PV a few times, I'm realizing this is pretty standard wherever you stay. You'll check-in on the ground floor with the agents where they go over the house rules and give you a wristband. Then you'll need to have your "host" (from whatever platform you booked) to come get you and handle the incidentals, mine was about $450. From there you get the grand tour! The rooftop pool and bar was the highlight and the reason I'll go back. The only downside (the reason for the 4 star review) to the whole experience is that SoHo is located on a very busy street and the street gets pretty noisy (no matter what floor you're on), but it's the price you pay to be walking distance to stores, shops, and the restaurants/bars. One thing to note - all guests need to check in and provide their ID at the front desk. They keep their ID until they leave the building. Overall, an amazing experience and can't wait to go back!!

There are sunning platforms and a fire pit in the pool. More chaise lounges are up a spiral staircase. The bar and restaurant along with most of the penthouse units were not finished yet. The new gym was open. Construction workers were constantly in the small elevators, and I'm surprised there is no large service elevator. Many of the elevators are semi-private opening to 2 units on each floor. You have to go down and switch elevators to go up to the pool. Airbnb units are decorated differently by individual owners. The layouts are basically the same and terraces are nice. We stayed in a 2 bedroom which is really 1 bedroom plus a studio-like area in the living room with another bed which can be closed off. Oddly the master bedrooms are in the rear with floor-to-ceiling windows and doors to the corridor. I'm guessing no one will keep their drapes open. Although further from the beach, it's in a near perfect spot convenient to the gay bars and restaurants, basically 1.5 blocks from The Corner Bar at Basilio Badillo. The only problem is trying to cross the busy sidewalk-less Mexico 200 "highway" opposite the Pemex which is dangerous at most times (there are hidden steps on one side of street).

The OWNER of the Unit, acting through this Agency, SOLD the Unit to another, days ago, and the Agency now advised me that the Unit is no longer available.
