We recently reached out as a small business for minimal accounting services and payroll services. Within the first few moments of the conversation, the individual we spoke to - informed us that "we certainly couldn't afford him." While simultaneously speaking derogatorily about our products and customer base. I found the entire several minute phone call insulting, rude, and very unprofessional. I was disheartened to know that even though we may not have been able to afford their services, that they would be so insensitive to also put us down and make us feel less than. As a small business, who is relatively new and upcoming, we hope that nobody else will be made to feel so insignificant and hurt. It would have sufficed to let us know that they worked with businesses much larger, and wouldn't recommend their services at this stage in our growth. Or to kindly turn us down. Rather than to be rude, insensitive, and unprofessional. Wouldn't recommend to any newer small businesses, or businesses working on growth in their first few years. read more

I opened a hair salon 2 1/2 years ago.
