I began by shooting her an email and discussing what I wanted to work on to make sure she was the right fit. I recommend reaching out sooner rather than later, as she fills up quickly. I had about a 4 wk wait to see her for my first time; then she gets you in regularly as needed. The office itself is comfortable and relaxing. There is plenty of street parking right out front. Kira is always prompt and professional, which I greatly appreciate. I would describe her style as warm, friendly, and caring. She has a calming voice, which I assume is pertinent to the profession. She is also direct and helpful, and she offers tools and recordings to utilize outside of session. I have found them to be useful. But again, it will depend on your reasons for seeing her, as I assume these things vary. Most importantly for me, I leave every session feeling like I learned something new about myself. That is a MUST for me in my journey. I found her prices to be competitive with others. The only downside to hypnotherapy is that insurance doesn't cover it.
