The size of the salad was also impressive. Just the fringes of a few pieces of lettuce were brown, but I easily picked them out. The chicken was warm, moist, and tasty. My friend ordered the daily lunch special, which included a ham sandwich, a side salad, and a canned soft drink. The bread for his sandwich consisted of something interesting: cornbread-like and jalapeños within it. The staff here were friendly and informative. They really seemed to appreciate our patronage of their business. I like that they offer a customer loyalty program. The atmosphere was initially calming and relaxing, until someone turned on some music. Oh well. It was nice to see an older building in the core of downtown Wynne being utilized as a restaurant. As always, I really enjoy supporting local businesses. A very solid four stars. I plan on returning again so that I can explore more of the delicious menu options. This location is especially convenient for northbound traffic on State Highway 1 (a.k.a. Falls Boulevard North), with safe and easy access to the ample parking lot. The employees here are largely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Per the Hays website, the retail hours are: Sunday through Saturday 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. Although prices are a bit high, I recommend this grocer, and shall return.

After we all paid separately with gratuity, we noticed the sign that said 20% included on party of 8. We were never advised by our waitress or the woman checking us out that gratuity was included SO we all tipped 40% . When I said something it was almost like a joke to the girl that check us out. We will visit this State Park again but not this restaurant.
