Last min appt, made 11am appt at 9am online which was very convenient and fast. Arrived to a clean organized salon, where I was greeted immediately. I was on a phone call but Raymond (my tech) handed me color options and led me to my seat to get settled. Once I was off we enjoyed a chat and ended up doing some fun designs on my nails! He's great, friendly and the 1-2 min massage at the end was perfect (lately I find most nail techs skimping or even skipping any form of massage altogether). I go to April's for get my brows waxed and tinted . and they always do a great job!! I recently went somewhere else to get acrylic nails and wasn't a fan so today I went in to get my acrylics off .. billy was great!! he understood why I wanted them removed . talked more about my natural nails and if I ever wanted them again explained how I should get them done . I have never been to a place that took the time to explain this to me . I will definitely go back!! read more

Its a horrible spot, had to go there because my regular spot is closed for renos. Have gone there now 3 times and its been a horrible experience every time. Not very hygienic, they use the same tools on everyone without disinfecting them. Drills are not sanitized between uses. Just recently had my nails filled (solar gel) the girl was not very experienced and was very nervous and kept filing and filing my nails. It took 3 hours to do what usually takes 1 hour. So 2 weeks into the fill noticed some of the gel lifting on a few nails. Went in to have then repaired only to find out I have a fungal infection on my nail because the gel wasn't sealed properly leaving moisture to get in between. I've been getting my nails done since I was in my 20's and never had an issue. I go to this place and end up with fungus. Oh wait....it gets better. The girl who was repairing my nails showed me her fungus on her finger and said it was no big deal as she is fixing my nails with no gloves on(OMG)!!!! That's a health violation right there!!! DO NOT GO THERE, YOU WILL GET A FUNGAL INFECTION!!! read more

Great service. Very clean. Friendly staff. Was extremely impressed and happy with my pedicure and my shalac French manicure. I stopped in without an appointment and was told the wait would be about 30 minutes. I waited less than 10 and was seated in the massaging chair to soak my feet while I waited. The colour selection for both the regular polish and the shalac was extensive with "natural" options to the wild and vibrant colours. I will definitely be back but will make an appointment next time!! read more

My nails are all different shapes and length and I got charged an extra 5$ for my shape and length which is an extra 10$ for no reason. My nail tech also refused to give me the length I wanted and cut it shorter anyway. The employees were rude and dismissive do not recommend read more

Do NOT go here for eyebrow waxing. Rushed, careless and horrible results. I have been getting my eyebrows done for years and I have never had such an awful experience. I have been to Nice One Nails a few times before to get my brows done, however, this time was a different. The lady rushed through the appointment and was careless. She continuously left the room to get the necessary supplies as she was unprepared and was finished my waxing in about 4 minutes. She did not inquire about how I wanted to my eyebrows done, nor did she take the time to carefully do them to make sure they were even and cleaned up. She simply threw the wax on and ripped away at my eyebrows, and consequently I left with a quarter of one of my eyebrows missing. I am not sure if she truly thought this was a good look, and appropriate to send a client away with nearly an inch of her eyebrow missing, or she made a mistake because she was working at the speed of light with no care to the client's experience. She did not go through the proper procedure, or at least how I have experienced every other waxing appointment. Unfortunately, I did not get a name, nor was the manager on duty. So, I will be returning to complain and hopefully be compensated for this hack job. Although cheap at $8 a pop, not worth it at all. Time to check out a salon with trained cosmeticians who care about catering to the customer's needs rather than their money, no matter the price for an eyebrow wax. read more

Worst place ever. 120 bucks for a mani pedi that took 3 hours. My wife went in for fill and shellac. Foot bath was cold so added hot water and scalded top of my feet. Trimmed toe nails down to nothing and all uneven then coated on the polish way too thick and didn't finish the tips. Same for finger nails. All uneven. First tech made them round and pointy when I stopped her sliced four of my fingers with aggressive filing where she had to use crazy glue to stop the bleeding. At that point asked for a different tech who had more experience. Same as toes coated on polish way to thick and uneven, fill was smudged and hardened but she just painted over it. When complained about the job was surrounded by all the techs and pressured to pay for a job that was not acceptable. When back next day and spoke to manager and even though he agreed with the quality of the job was only able to give a 30 dollar refund. Said his hands were tied and that's all he can do. Of course who knows what was being said as none of them communicated in English amongst themselves. Will never go back to this place, almost worth picketing out front and dissuade prospective costumes. read more
