However, I decided to check into him as he claimed to be a hiring firm which lead me to this other yelper who had reviewed him. So I called Jim and informed him I was no longer comfortable with an interview based on the yelp review. He immediately went into a rage about the yelp review saying all sorts of horrible things about the person who made the review. I tried to calm him down and to explain why I was no longer comfortable but he would not desist from his onslaught of slander against the other yelper who reviewed. Eventually I just repeated that I'm sorry that I was not comfortable meeting up anymore and he said I was "pissing him off" so I hung up. Would STRONGLY recommend anyone who be on contact with Jim Block or JD Block & Associates take care. If you do go for a meeting of any kind, please consider bringing a friend or contacting local police to do a stand in. I know I didn't feel safe meeting him and I would discourage others as well.
