I was welcomed when I walked in and people looked excited to be there. It's a large church so there were a lot of seating options but it did fill up right as the service I went to started at 9. Worship was so good! Everyone was passionate. It was just the right amount to prepare your heart and then they dove into the Word. They are a Bible teaching church which I love. They stuck to the Word then taught how it applied in today's world. It was convicting with love. After service I looked around and they offer tons of resources and groups for people. I loved their bookstore area. The gal that checked me out even gave me a first time gift. Way to make me feel special and included. I visit this area somewhat regularly and look forward to returning!

First let me say how beautiful the area is as well as the building itself. Everyone we came into contact with was super sweet and reached out to introduce themselves as well as get to know you. I absolutely loved the worship experience and Pastor Todd's Easter message was awesome and very inspiring. I like that he taught sound Biblical Principals but also added in real life struggles that we as followers deal with. He didn't sugar coat it and it was relevant and left you thinking long after the sermon. My family and I can't wait to attend another service here!

Upon arriving, we were greeted by several people and introduced to several more. When the service began, we felt the music was worshipful and enthusiastic. The sermon included relevant key verses as well as multi-media aspects. The service was a good length and finished with a cheerful send-off. While moving toward the door we were, again, greeted by many of the members. The pastor even invited us to chat, have coffee or lunch (in the coming week) if we had any questions about the church. We will, DEFINITELY, return to Aptos Christian.

I know mass can be intimidating to some people if they haven't been before, and in some places, it can feel like you've walked into an exclusive club where the expectations are not very clear. However, here they started with an announcement where they pointed out the cards in the pews that list the prayers and explained the order of the service, and they also explained how people who aren't baptized Catholic can come up during the communion service and receive a blessing. Not all places do this, and, as a Protestant, I feel frustrated sometimes when I go up for a blessing and the server just seems confused. (This is an international Catholic custom, to offer blessings, but a lot of people don't seem to know about it.) Father Ron is so friendly, and he has a really great way of connecting with children and delivering a message that is meaningful to them. I enjoy listening to him speak and find many things he says really hit home. Thank you!

We need this kind of cooperation and worldinesz now more than ever in this nationalist-leaning country. I go to this fellowship. It's a beautiful place inside and out. We talk about religions, issues and philosophies from all around the world. The speakers, Reverend Russ and music (piano, solo musicians and choir) do a beautiful job bringing Sundays to life. They have a free meditation group on Tuesdays, a preschool and youth program, a book club, and independent religious study groups. As a secular, I would definitely check it out if you're in town or are looking for an open forum for talk and belief. (Also they have an amazing lunch after each service. This ain't your Sunday box of donuts)
