Eddie, our carpet cleaning technician, texted me as he finished up his previous job, and it actually worked out for both of us that he came 30 minutes early. Covid Safety - I appreciated that Eddie showed up in his face mask and gloves. Eddie was super nice and professional. He asked if I had any specific requests or concerns. I just mentioned how there were stains from previous tenants before my time, and Eddie said he will give those areas extra attention. His efforts are most appreciated and extremely effective because my place looks brand new. Eddie started from the top on 3rd floor and worked his way down. I was on third, working from home, and he gave me plastic foot covers in case I need to walk around. He left a few pairs for my roommates at the entrance of our home as well. Eddie sprayed a treatment solution onto the carpet and then proceeded with his steaming vacuum tool. For such a powerful suction, it was not too loud at all. I barely noticed him working his magic while I was focused on meetings and calls with my colleagues. By the time I finished up with work and had a chance to see the carpet, it was incredible. Perfect cleaning patterns showing every exposed piece of carpet was thoughtfully cleaned. All of the stains from the living room area from the previous tenants were gone as if they never happened. Good riddance to the stains and good riddance to those dirty people. Tip is not required, but for all the hard work put into the job, I personally feel like tip was much deserved. My research said $10-20 is standard, but I gave a little more for the extra time spent over the quoted duration. Probably because of the stains... One little warning for anyone who is getting their carpet cleaning for the first time... it would typically be wet for at like 5-6 hours after and still a bit damp to the next day. Turning on your fans and AC will help speed up the process. The house looks brand new and I couldn't be happier with Aqua Cleanse. I have been raving about them to friends and family. One of the most honest and ethical guy we've ever met! We had a heavily stained mattress from a previous tenant and hired him to clean our mattress. He arrived within a reasonable time frame range. After trying to clean and deodorize our mattress, many of the stains were still visible. Even though the mattress was unsalvagable (not his fault as we had no idea how long these stains lasted until the tenant left), he did not feel comfortable taking our money, even though we still wanted to compensate him for his time and effort.
