Been going here for years, and while there are other ranges, this one stands out as very unique. There are just a handful of aqua ranges across the country. Just a great atmosphere at night, covered up so you never have to worry about rain. The staff and management the last time i was there was great. Very friendly, attentive and they wanted you to have fun so you'd come back. Ideal for family, and all levels of golfers. Nothing less than 5 stars.

My husband loves golf & this place is perfect. The view is amazing. It's cools to see when the balls are being hit & you get to see them get into the water. Also the shade! You know Florida is hot & outdoor events are better when there's shade. Love coming here & work on my phone while my husband is just hitting balls.

I am a huge fan of aqua golf. Yes it's a "Something about Mary" course. Yes its right off 95. And yeah sure it's fun to blast balls into water instead of a sketchy fairway. But what makes this place a great place just to hang out is the overt peacefulness of it. It's a covered area so no matter the time of year its not too hot. The couple guys that run the place are as old school as you would want, grabbing a bear for Ya when you like and having all the buckets ready when you want. The one of wine glasses they have give another facet to chillin by the lake and working on your shot as well. If I lived closer I may stop in every other week to grab a beer, shoot the smack and hit a few balls in to the lake. For now I'm glad to make it down whenever I can make it down to Hallandale west.

Old and dated. But cool for a day out just to hit some balls. Not sir hire they retrieve them after being hit into a lake ‍. Owner will tell you about all the pros that have been there and of course 'there's something about Mary ' reference. Go and check it out but you don't get a real read on distance after it hits the ground.. well bc us guys in the water.

I wouldn't call it Pembroke Pines. It's more like Hallandale Beach. My family and I recently went. It's pretty cheap and I love how unique it feels to Florida. There's Something About Mary was filmed there. It could use some tables and seating, but all in all, we had a great time and will be back.

What a place! Kids had so much fun for the first time.. They never did this... The people were super nice and gave both my kids a few tips on holding the club! I went here when I was a kid with my dad! Found out they have been open for 60 years... amazing.. we will be back!

I absolutely love it here. I bring all my friends (the owner who runs it recognizes me already). It is the only stand alone range in Florida, facing a lake full of targets. It's super affordable, since I don't have my own clubs (yet) I rent them there for $3. The owner is very cool and fits you with the appropriate sized club so you have a better swinging experience. I believe the total you spend there with purchasing the basket of balls, club rental and lane rental is like $15 max.. If you bring your own clubs it's cheaper. It's open late so you can either enjoy an early morning swing or sunset experience. They sell beer and wine there but you can bring your own little cooler if you'd like as well. What I like about this range is that there is no dress code. You can come comfortable, in shorts and a regular thirty if you'd like and just enjoy a very laid back experience. I personally think it provides a fun date atmosphere if you are looking to try something new.

Somewhat dated equipment ( golfing pads) but overall sufficient for it's purpose. Okay for the price!

I came to the resort for a wedding and reserved a room for one night. When we arrived, the valet…read moreline was backed up almost to the street, with what looked like a 30-minute wait. Luckily, I spotted self-parking, and we were able to get into the garage instead. Check-in was easy. As a Marriott Lifetime Platinum member, I appreciate the benefits of loyalty, and my room was upgraded to the Orchid Tower with a beautiful balcony overlooking the golf course. The resort charges a $75 resort fee, which includes access to the gym, putting greens, and Tidal Cove Water Park. On Saturday afternoon we headed to the water park, but it was so crowded. There were no chairs available, the lazy river was bumper-to-bumper with people, and several families allowed their children to fight and run around while security seemed uninterested. We left and walked over to the adult pool, which was nice and had plenty of chairs. The wedding itself was beautiful. The Grand Ballroom was a little tight for the 220 guests. The dance floor was too small to accommodate. The catered meal (beef, fish, or vegetarian) was typical banquet food and unfortunately inedible. I was there to celebrate the bride and groom, so the food was secondary. Although, If I was paying, I would not have been happy. Sunday brought more disappointment. We returned to Tidal Cove only to find it just as crowded, so we again headed to the adult pool. While relaxing, a woman brought her small dog to the pool. Marriott may allow dogs on the property, and I have no issue with that, but she actually let the dog swim in the pool. Another guest complained, yet the dog remained in the water while the owner loudly argued. Soon other guests started bringing their dogs down to the pool. Again, not one of the workers around the pool said anything. A resort pool should not become a dog park. I had been given a 3:30 p.m. late checkout, I was so disgusted that I left at 1:00 p.m. At checkout I told the front desk exactly what I had witnessed. Then came the final frustration. Self-parking is advertised at $45 per day and was supposed to be charged to my room. Instead, I paid at the garage exit. My ticket showed I entered at 1:46 p.m. Saturday and exited at 2:02 p.m. Sunday--just 20 minutes over 24 hours. Rather than charging the daily rate plus perhaps a small overage, I was charged $74.90. I made my husband stop at the parking office where I spoke with Rachel. She contacted the manager, who assured me the extra charge would be removed. A week later, the full $74.90 posted to my Visa with no adjustment. I've tried to call the hotel directly and every time they forward the call to accounting, no one picks up and call drops. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but between the overcrowding, dogs swimming in the adult pool, and the parking overcharge that was never corrected, this stay was extremely disappointing. As a Lifetime Platinum Elite member who chooses Marriott whenever possible, I expected far better customer service and management. Unfortunately, I will never return. There are other Marriott Resorts in Florida that are so much nicer.

There are two 18 hole golf courses at Turnberry. Played here this morning on the Miller course…read morehowever the other 18 is on the Soffer Course. Green fees were $295 and club rentals were $85. From the view of my hotel room I can see the driving range as well as the 18th and 12th holes. When I checked into the pro shop the staff was rude and very unhelpful. Not even a smile to say good morning. I gave them a pass since it was early in the morning and they had a tournament on the Soffer Course. The course is a resort course so play the blue tees if you're used to playing white tees. 5094 yardstick the whit tees vs 5789 yards on the blue. Overall the course is maintained like a muni. The sand traps were raked well and not heavy. Lots of trash and construction around the course. On the back 9 they had the sprinklers on and I had to drive though and get wet. After the round when I went back to return the clubs the man at the pro shop never asked how my round went. He was just going through the motions. Sad customer service. With paying all most $500 for the round I would expect better customer service and a course that should be in tip top shape. Lots of construction on the course and noise from the machines. Not worth the price. Go play elsewhere.
