We set up an appointment for the following day and he arrived on time. He was charismatic, knowledgeable and professional. He emailed me within 24 hours with an estimate and I sent in my deposit electronically shortly thereafter. But it seems once they had my money they no longer felt they needed to respond promptly. I waited 10 days with no follow up and then began calling their office. Occasionally someone answered and took a message, mostly my calls went straight to voicemail. I also tried contacting them through emails, also with no response. After 2 more weeks of leaving word with a spotty receptionist, voicemails and emails the owner, Sarath Jerome, finally called me back, more than 3 weeks after I gave his company a deposit. A team of 4 or 5 men came the following day and completed most of the work. They promised to return the next week to complete the job. They asked for 2/3 of the total cost of the project before they left and we wrote them a check. A week passed and no one returned to complete the job or to even follow up by phone or email. So once again i began calling and emailing with no response. 10 days after they worked on our project I finally got an email from the owner saying he was busy and had just then begun reviewing his emails. He said he would get back to me. Another week or so passed before he returned my email and said someone would be at our house to finish the job on June 30. I prepped the space for the work and nobody showed up. By 1:00 pm I called and emailed to find out what was going on. Jerome replied half an hour later and said that his employee would be at my home by 3:00. No one ever showed up. I emailed Jerome around 5 and asked what happened. He said his guy got caught up on a job and could he come the next day @ 10:00 a.m.?Jerome said he would be there as well. Angry and frustrated but just wanting my project finished, I agreed. No one showed up the following day either. I sent Jerome an email around noon again and inquired as to where he and his employee were. I never got a response. I sent him an email the following day and expressed my annoyance. He has never gotten back to me. We have a friend that is a contractor who was too busy to do the job but who came over to look at what Old Bay Remodeling had done. He said he didn't think the work was up to code and could potentially be a hazard. My recommendation to anyone thinking about using Old Bay Remodeling is not to use this company. They were recommended by Angi's List, so i assumed they were fully vetted. What a mistake that was!

We are out over $14,000. Honorable contractors would not have left us in this situation. We did not learn this job failed the final building inspection until after the statute of limitations ran out. Builder never called for it. It's okay, Karma baby. One day it will come back at both of them.

Gary prioritizes speed over quality and it shows in the concrete patio that he installed…read more Gary and his team were able to complete the project in one day - which I appreciate - but this was at the expense of properly cleaning up the mess left in my yard and the quality of the patio. Initially, a small pit was left in the concrete next to my A/C unit which left a puddle pooling up on the side of my house. I called Gary, and to his credit he did come back and fix it, but that and the discoloration in the concrete and the noticeable texture marks could all be prevented if proper time was taken in the installation. These are all minor issues. For his price maybe that is what I should expect. What was annoying was Gary and his team left a mess in my yard including food and drinks, an old t-shirt, mixed cement on my fence, a massive rut on my yard from his buggy, and a whole lot of clay which we had agreed would be taken out. Also his team used my shovels and pickaxe - which is totally fine - but then took one of my shovels and Gary ignored my text asking for it back. Pretty dick thing to do. Use Gary's team if you want a job done fast and you don't mind cleaning up after their mess or losing your equipment.

Victor came out promptly the next day and offered me a fair quote. One of the trees was split half way up and stuck on other 30' above the ground. They did a good job minimizing damage to neighboring trees in the area when removing that, and when bringing bigger trunk wood off the property. They came when they said they would and went above and beyond with the cleanup. We will be recommending them, and using them in the future.

I was serviced by sales rep Tim. I felt that the quote was reasonable but did have to secure the…read morequote by putting 30% down. The work was started on Sept 8th and completed Sept 12th. So we did not park or walk in the concrete for 10 days. Mind you both entry ways to the house were done. I followed all directions of not disturbing the concrete. I also complied with advertising on my property. On Sept 22nd I noticed what was considered a "settlement" crack per Tim. He also stated that it takes a total of 28 days for the concrete to completely cure. I was told someone would come out to repair it. I continued to reach out and was told they were really busy. Then once winter arrived I knew they wouldn't be able to do the work. Fast forward to March I started tracking out again. They finally came in April to "patch" the crack. It rained about 3 hours after they left and it looked as if nothing had been done. I reached back out and was told that is the way it's supposed to look and they would be back. Well now it's June almost July and no one has returned and now another crack has surfaced. Although they have been nice and courteous the follow-up does not meet expectations. It'll soon be a year and I paid as agreed but the service once they get your money lacks.
