Failure to provide service- twice. Regardless of Chris's…read moreskill as praised in on other reviews, it is ultimately overshadowed by his consistent lack of responsiveness to inquiries. I have reached out to Chris on 2 separate occasions. On both attempts, I reached out via Yelp and was directed to email the project to his company address. The first time, I received no response, but I opted to give him the benefit of the doubt, given the order was more complex and I was admittedly disorganized. Subsequently, this year, almost a year to the date of my last inquiry, I submitted a second, very simple request, through the same process. Yet once again, no acknowledgment, no rejection, no follow-up, and nothing in spam. If a job is outside his scope or interest, he is fully within his right to choose his work/deny service, but I believe it's the bare minimum in professionalism and courtesy to at least inform the client of your decision, rather than ghosting them after they send you the files they potentially created themselves or paid for. Likewise, there is no reason to direct inquiries to a communication line if it is A) Not actively monitored/responded to. B) You could easily spend the minute to look at the link/file in yelp and reject it. Bottom line: I do not advise sending your files to this vendor. There is no reasonable expectation of response to inquiries or submitted materials, and I ultimately had the work completed elsewhere without issue.

After working with 3 other 3D Printing businesses, we have found that Chris' professionalism,…read morevalue, and turnaround time to be the best fit for our projects' needs both internationally and locally. We needed 50 small toys to be printed in time for a toy convention and he was able to accommodate us with extremely reasonable rates and with a 1 week lead time. Much quicker than we had anticipated! He also is amazing/efficient with communication as he updated us every step of the way with photos and solutions on how to make the toys more durable + figured out a way on how to make them look smoother! Hands down, one of the most easy and straightforward parts of our project by far! Lastly, he also has two very well behaved poodles that were super friendly. It was therapeutic petting them while we chatted about our business endeavors/careers! (I now want poodles someday too) Really enjoyed working with Chris and would love to collaborate with him again!

Stay Away from this business . You've been warned. Mike has…read moresome serious Shady business practices. I was warned by others, I didn't listen now I'm 1 gun short. Today 1/7/24, I was going to pick up my HPA fully upgrade AK only to find out that it's missing, also my redline regulator for Daytona and a aeg battery. The explanation Mike gave me is that if a job he worked on has been there for over at least a couple years, he discards/boneyards it after making multiple attempts to contact owner. First, this was never disclosed to me when I brought in 4 items for repairs, he "victims blames" me by laying the fault on me for leaving the gun too long. The person who told me not to go to him says he takes his time with the repairs, I was in the impression that this is normal and same reason I haven't heard from them. Airsoft was in a hiatus since Warped OPs burned down 18 months ago, I get his point but I'm not unreasonable, I was expecting to pay storage fee or whatever he wants to charge me for that. There was never an attempt to contact me about my items, I never changed my number and have the same number for years and I work in healthcare working with multiple health care professionals. I simply don't miss phone calls. The job is not over 2 years ago, see tag, he keeps on changing on how long he keeps an item in storage, started from 6 years and worked his way down to 2 years. Lastly, the only item I got back today is my krytac drum mag that he deems "beyond repair". Mike's reasoning is extremely faulty because of all the items, the drum mag would be the perfect candidate for trash/boneyard. He claims that once his shop contacts the owner, they right something behind the back of the tag. Mine is blank. I wouldn't be surprised if Mike sold my items. It just doesn't make sense to throw the "repaired" items and keep the boneyard ones, plus it's a quick sell. Stay away, do yourself a favor. Learn from my mistake, this guy is a scum and this is the confirmation.i

I got quotes from several places around town. Hollywood 3D Printing, for example, quoted me 3 times the price I got from There You Have It and didn't seem too interested in getting it done; maybe they want to stick to studio work. Everyone at There You Have It were extremely nice, responded emails in a timely manner and actually picked up the phone (!!!) the couple of times I had to call them. Exceptional customer service, the print came out better than I expected and the finish is stellar, completely smooth and the level of detail is out of this world. I literally cannot tell, except for the weight, that my statue is not white marble. Best of all, my order was finished less than 24h after payment and they were kind enough to work with me when I sent a courier to pick it up. I will definitely come back and will refer them to all my friends and clients. This is how you do business, LA!

This wonder, I now get to share with my sons, as we've now attended the last two Comic Cons. My eldest has been Deadpool back to back. My youngest SubZero and Symbiote Spider-man. I was Majin Vegata the first year, and Peter Parker the second. A little saint joined us as Freddy Krueger. (We told her he wasn't a "Comic" character) What seems like a breathe after Comic Con my inner child is summoned to play with other citizens of the world in many worlds. Halloween. A little saint and I decided to be Magneto and Psylocke. We constructed her battle dress, and I needed a helmet. I called a few 3D printing shops, and none of them sounded like they could get the job done in the timeframe I was requesting, at I price I found agreeable. One shop I called, who's machine was down referred my to Hollywood 3D when I asked for their professional recommendation. I found Hollywood 3D on Yelp, read the reviews, and decided to give them a call. I believe that many of the previous communication failures are remedied by the woman I encountered at the helm. I was transferred to Miles, who I found just as layered, complicated, and oddly ordered, but order nonetheless, as I expected someone in such a fascinating, incredible, forward, and progressive industry as 3D printing. Miles could do the job in time, and within an agreeable price. Miles agreed to some kind of veteran discount, and we agreed to meet the following morning where I'd provide the file required for the sacrifice...and, money of course. Hollywood 3D Printing is located on the iconic Los Angeles street Melrose. I found it particularly convenient that Hollywood 3D Printing is a block from an acting studio I belong to. The Anthony Gilardi Acting Studio, also reviewed. The morning meet was filled with boyish fort building whispers. I delivered the file, Miles and the woman behind the desk scaled. Miles measured my Dodgers' cap to be sure. The Helmet is three pieces, needing my final praise to two 2D image from the pages of Stan Lee's X-Men to life. Out of the box I felt I got what I paid for, with a veteran discount. I labored with a smile, gluing, sanding, and painting. Welcome madness. The night of Halloween I floated above the metal woven streets of Los Angeles, my cape flailing in the cool autumn night, my helmet protecting my most precious assets...my mind. They do not care, whether you're happy or not, they do not try to help nor are they apologetic for completely messing up your order. First of, getting them to respond to you on a timely matter is a challenge. I've had to write the Courtney person several times asking her to respond. And it's not until I cc Miles, the owner that she responds. Courtney's energy on the phone is that if a high school student who will not be bothered with customer service. She is not nice, or helpful. She does the bare minimum. Is not forthcoming with in formation, even when I explain that this was my first time ordering trophies. I ordered 7 trophies in total. One of them being slightly bigger. Well, in return they created the other six, in a matted finish that I never agreed to. I wanted a shiny finish on all of them. I tried to ask them to fix this since it was costing me several thousand dollars to purchase them. I got a No, it's too late. One minimal ( just like in Courtney fashion) apology. Then to get them to me at my home has been another fedex headache I will not bore you with. I still have not received my trophies. The point is, I will never go back to this place. And they sure did shoot them selves on the foot with this one, because my dance competition is only going to grow, and they could have been my ongoing manufacturers. Miles, was wayyyyyyyyy better to interact with. Someone needs to send Courtney to customer service school or just learn how to be nice. It's not that hard. Stay away from this business.
