We were not sure what shoes we wanted or what would work best for us, but they were very knowledgeable about shoes for different types of foot issues ( high arches, flat feet, etc.). We tried on quite a few pairs of shoes and never once did they seem annoyed although they were very busy assisting other customers as well. We were both fitted with perfect shoes and left very happy customers.

There were four workers and they were very slow at helping, mind you it was not busy at all in the store. The last straw was asking for a shoe size and no one coming back for 10 mins. At that point, I left with nothing and decided to go to the Big 5 Sporting Goods at Las Americas and they helped me the second I arrived into the store. Very disappointed in the Saturn Blvd store. Not worth the hassle.

Big 5 customers dont ask Sierra any questions, just pay and leave. Great customer service. At least she volunteered to ring me up. her manager which was next to her. Manager didn't acknowledged me or offered to help or even mentioned that sierra will ring me up when i asked both of them a question. She continued to hang clothes.

The customer service is superior at this store. A guy helped me on a Saturday and he was so patient. My son wanted very specific things. He literally looked all over the store for some soccer shoes that I had gone to 5 stores and were sold out. They had a jersey that had literally just came out. The prices are high but it's definitely the best of the best. Highly recommend!

Plenty of workers around to assist you. They had a better selection of shoes than the other athletic store in plaza rio. Prices for American goods here are more expensive than in the us. So if you can cross border to buy things in America it is cheaper to buy these kind of things in the us. But if you can't then this is a nice place to buy the stuff you need for working out.

I've been…read morein this store quite a few times and they typically have a HUGE selection of Stanley, Yeti, Owala, and Hydroflask drinking vessels in addition to other brands. Today as I browsed around, I noted that the store was overwhelmed with World Cup gear which is cool, but the merchandise that I saw, including Jerseys, t-shirts, shorts, etc., was really crowded and disorganized and it looked like the Tasmanian Devil had whirled himself through it. The aisles were also impossibly packed with stuff, and it made passing other customers an obstacle course. Anyway, I also walked past the flip-flops with the intention of possibly purchasing a new pair for the summer. Leather Olukais were almost $90, simple Havaianas were over $40, and plastic Birks were $50. Needless to say, I didn't buy any... I'll stick with my beloved & comfy Reefs that I bought last summer. Finally, I walked over the water bottles... There was one type of Stanley straws available and they were $11.25. I looked online and the same straws were originally priced at $15 , but were on sale for $9. There were no Stanley "boots" in the store, so I couldn't get one of those. They had some made by another brand, and a few Owala ones, but none of the colors worked with my tumbler. So I just decided to get the straws. I asked the cashier if they honor online prices, and she said they did which I appreciated. She looked at my phone and said, "oh these other straws are the ones that are on sale." I said, "these straws (in my hand) are the only ones that you have in the store." And then she agreed to give me the discount... Keep in mind that the prices of the same item were different online vs. in store, and then the higher priced straws were discounted even further. Buyer beware... I left the store with my straws in hand, and a burning desire not to return to this store again, unless I absolutely have to, as the shopping experience was mediocre in my opinion. Mahalo!

She asked that I spend 50 as she was going to cover the cost for the student. I got to the Big 5 and asked for help as I had no idea what to buy..after hearing my story about the student, the young manager helped me find a pair close to 50...it was 65$. I called and asked...can it be 65? Yes, she said, so I hurried to pay to hurry to get the cleats to the student so he can play! As I am paying, the young manager comes to the register and says "give her my discount." I paid 53$ OUT THE DOOR for the cleats.. What an act of kindness!! What a generous, wise young manager.. I'm making this my go to store Thank you!!

Update customer service (customer satisfaction/return policy)!…read more They don't work with you to satisfy their customers, even at corporate higher level management. Although they say there is no time limit for returns, there certainly is (according to corporate mgmt). However, no where in their pamphlet, store, or receipt does it say in writing that you cannot return anything (even new with receipt) once the item is purged from their system (who knows when that is) or it has been several years old. One representative told me that they would not be able to resell old (but unused) items due to parts like shoe glue in my case (Nike shoes). But that goes with anything they sell so that's a poor answer. So buyer beware! Not just this store. All Big 5 locations have the same "lame" misleading return policy under corporate executives. They need to update their policy and customer service big time. And they need to put all the disclaimers etc. on paper especially the receipts. It doesn't help even if you are a loyal customer for several years either.
