Throughout the process, I was promised communication and meetings with different staff members, but no one ever followed through. Several times I was told someone would contact me, and they simply never did. The lack of professionalism was overwhelming. I also received contracts that did not match the amounts I had already paid in deposits, which made me extremely uncomfortable. & I refused to sign them so she said she was seizing any communication unless I signed it, As the event got closer, the situation kept getting more confusing and disorganized. Just seven days before my daughter's celebration, I was forced to find another venue at the last minute, which cost me additional money and caused a lot of unnecessary stress for my family. I later learned that others have had similar issues, including a friend of mine. I truly wish I had known this beforehand. Planning a Sweet 16 is a big deal in our community--we save, we plan, and we put our hearts into creating something special for our daughters. Instead, this experience left us disappointed and financially impacted. I am requesting a refund for the deposits I paid, and I hope no one else has to go through the same experience I did. I am currently reporting her to the BBB I read reviews similar to mine!!!!! Beware...... I want ALL of my money back!!!!

I triple checked I was getting on the right train this time after having incidents arise when traveling to Long Island. After that, it was like a $4 lyft ride over. The views are breathtaking and by the water. They had a really nice set up for the ceremony under an arch outside. Inside was where the party and festivities were held. Hold on - the bathrooms. I need to talk about how great the bathrooms are here. They have little baskets with like towelettes to remove makeup, hair tie things (people like me lose these ALL the time), breathe fresheners, like I'm pretty sure an emergency sewing kit, tampons, pads, cologne, the whole nine yards was stowed away in the ladies bathroom. Get on it. The wedding couple decided on doing this with a full buffet spread before the actual ceremony and a cocktail hour. Interesting. I've never been to a wedding before where they feed you twice. Maybe an appetizer cocktail hour but this was a full huge spread. There were plenty of options for everyone. I was drawn to the sushi and cheese tables as more than others because I didn't want to kill myself with stuffing my face beforehand. Fresh salmon, different kinds of lasagnas, beef goulash, etc. The actual meals they prepare here - eh. I went with the beef and wasn't impressed but there were little additions like 'make your own blinis with fresh caviar, sour cream & lox'. Pinch me now. Every table had their own red wine and vodka bottle chilled on ice. Yes, this was a half Russian wedding. The alcohol choices were fantastic up at the bar and the bartenders were great with also making up drinks when we were indecisive but I mostly stuck to gin/vodka for the night. Really nice addition that the venue provides are desert cordial shots. Little cups of chocolate filled with a liquor of your choice. I think I was the first person to discover the table being set up and stood there for the remainder of the night. I don't go to too many weddings but I was impressed by the venue. Anything by water you really can't go wrong with just don't ask me how much any of this cost.

The most important ingredient to a great wedding party for me is the band and the food. The location on the water was an added value. The food can be a challenge because it sometimes depends how much you want to spend. For this wedding, the food was average and the band was fabulous. But the caterers is what truly represents the place regardless how much you spend.

It was that good. The wedding ceremony took place outside, where rows of chairs were set up and we all had gorgeous waterfront views. After the ceremony, we walked into the building's first floor for the cocktail hour. Simply put, the food was amazing. The cocktail hour alone could have served as a meal. There was a big central charcuterie station of cold appetizers - think meats, cheeses, fruits, and crudities. The four corners of the room each housed a food station - a carving station, sushi/sashimi, pasta, and Asian stir fry. Oh, and there were tons of butler service passed hors oeuvres too. Next, we walked upstairs to the large ballroom for the main meal. Dinner service started with a "Burrata Caprese" salad with a big hunk of creamy mozzarella served in a dressed salad with grilled bread. As for the dinner entrees, would you believe a choice of SEVEN entrees?? I kid you not -- seven entrees - Branzino, chicken, pork, beef, shrimp, Surf and Turf, and eggplant. My table had just about all of the choices, and everything disappeared. After the meal, there was an apple tart with ice cream and wedding cake. All of the people I interacted with, the hosts, the bartenders, the servers and the clearers were super polite and friendly. When I think about the decor, the scenery, the food, and the service, this was a top-notch experience, Well done, Piermont.

When we arrived we enjoyed specialists drinks, appetizers, and a solo musician on the main floor. There were so many different and fun small plates constantly passed around from mini fish tacos, crab crakes, bruschetta, to fried ravioli. They had hot carving stations and a pasta bar. We were then moved upstairs for the main reception event and dinner. It was a huge wedding party and all of the guests fit comfortably. The decorations were perfection and all of the servers and bartenders were attentive and nice. It was a blast and the staff at Piermont helped make it a success. If you are thinking of this location for your future wedding or reception, I 10/10 recommend the Piermont.

Overall, it's always a great place to host a professional gathering. Service has consistently been very good. The staff is attentive and organized, which helps when you're hosting a larger group event. Breakfast is usually the best meal of the day and something I look forward to each year. Lunch this year, however, wasn't quite as memorable. I'm not sure who the chef was, but the food was very plain almost like traditional wedding catering. It wasn't bad or inedible, just lacking seasoning. There was very little salt or flavor, so it didn't really stand out or meet the standard many of us expected. The venue itself is beautiful. The inside has a classic, historic feel, and you can tell the building has been around for quite some time. Certain areas really showcase that charm. There is also plenty of parking, which is always a plus. One small thing to note is the cobblestone area as you approach the building it looks nice but isn't the most heel-friendly. Thankfully, there's a sidewalk around it. All in all, the Heritage Club is still a great place to host meetings or events, especially for larger groups. The atmosphere and service are consistently strong, even if the lunch this year was a bit on the plain side.
