I just give 3 stars because the food had nothing special. The fish was definitely not the best we had on the island. We liked the restaurant on the other side, Pequeno Príncipe, a bit better. Also, they do not serve eggs, coffee or anything that could be used for breakfast, so it is not the place you want to go in the morning. The coffee place a little further up (first street on the right when you leave the beach) is definitely better for that. It's a bit far if you walk though, so better to stop there with your car before you head to the beach.

We arrived around 7pm and were the only customers in the restaurant besides a large group which one in the other room of the restaurant. By the time we left, both rooms of the restaurant, the patio and the bar were all completely full, and a Brazilian jazz band was playing very nice music in the main room. For diner, got 2 pizzas, one with artichoke and one with 4 cheeses. Both of them were just amazingly good and tasty. For drinks, we got the home-brewed beer and a bottle of Cabernet. The restaurant was launching their home-brewed beers, and offering a 1 buy, 1 offer deal for the occasion. The beer was pretty interesting and refreshing. The best of the night was the deserts: we got the chocolate cake (with vanilla ice cream) and the Pineapple with cinnamon and sugar (forgot the name, sorry). Just unforgettable. The service was very good and fast as well: we did not need to speak English but they had an English menu in case you need it. The price was also very reasonable, less than 25$ per person. This restaurant completely deserves to be on the best restaurant list. You must try it if you are visiting Florianopolis.

The variety of pizzas will satisfy any taste, and the toppings are generous and it's truly a real authentic pizza crust. The quality of the toppings were excellent as was the dessert.
