Abbie set up a measurement appointment within a few days. Chad came out to measure our kitchen countertops to get an accurate estimate. We received the estimate later that same day, and it was very reasonable. I went into the shop to choose my granite and met Rebecca and Amanda. After choosing my granite and free sink, our installation was scheduled. From start to finish the whole process took about a week. Edgar and his crew installed our countertops and even came back to address a concern I had with shims( I keep my old backsplash so to make the countertops level shims we're needed). Edgar came by very happily and addressed my concern and made a slight tweak to trim the shims. I would highly recommend BLG and their team for granite countertops. We choose Bahama White granite and our kitchen countertops look absolutely gorgeous!!

I found Blue Label online. Our project is in an old neighborhood in Buda so it was convenient. We went to the showroom and were greeted by Aaliyah who explained the inventory and helped us to make a selection. Once we submitted a drawing of the top to be produced it took 4 days to have the finished countertop ready. It was small and the shop guys loaded it in the pickup for us. We self installed it and it fits perfectly. We are very satisfied with the result. Blue Label did a great fabrication job for us. They were on time, no surprises, precision work. The first red flag for me was when you texted and asked me if I brought my checkbook before i ever arrived or agreed to hire you. I felt like the pricing on your website wasn't honest and it was a bait and switch. You advertise $38 sq foot installed and then on your quote you have required add ons that aren't optional making your price not much different than anyone else. When I came in to get kitchen counter tops to sell my house you switched gears to try and make it a bigger up sell for bathroom countertops before even EARNING my business for the kitchen job. I was for sure hiring someone to replace the kitchen counters and it would have been better to get that business and then after blowing it out of the park made a deal to do the bathrooms. Your pricing model of advertise a low price to get traffic and then switch it up at the quote gave me a funny feeling. I was still prepared to go ahead and pull the trigger despite the things mentioned above. Until you started asking me if I routinely carried around thousands of dollars in cash and made comments about how much money I must have in regards to my truck. You also made a comment about why you didn't accept credit cards yesterday which was "people use credit cards so they can get their money back after you complete the job" which was the enough red flags for me to go ahead and go through with them. Had jobs been done satisfactory credit card companies don't just reverse charges just because. The company I went with was premier stone and their ETHNICITY WAS NOT a qualifying factor. They made it a very simple process and didn't make me feel that I would regret hiring them after the fact. They came to the house to do measuring and provided a quote without any strings attached. You wanted me to give you a 60% deposit before even coming out to measure to ensure the measurements were correct. And lastly your last text reassured me that I made the right decision for this job and for the next job when I redo my new house.

We're very pleased with the quartzite Toluca fabricated for us--from selection to installation…read more With a small project (bathrooms), we were choosing remnants, and Paulina was endlessly informative and patient with multiple visits till we found ones we loved. In installation, Pablo went above and beyond in making our sink fit in the master bathroom--we had bought what we thought was the right dimensions, but when he pulled out the old one it was flat in back, instead of oval all around. He said he could try to cut it but it might break. We were fine with that risk--and he did a great job. Impressive.

This was our first time working on such a project, and it was not cheap. Communicating with Nancy was great from the beginning to the end. She helped answer all of the questions and concerns that came up over a 6 week period while we shopped several suppliers, fabricators, and installers in North Austin. Toluca's quotes were the most competitive by far, and when we thought we had finally chosen our quartz material, Nancy suggested an alternative that was of similar quality and design but more affordable. It was an excellent suggestion, and we went with it. Installation took 2 days and was a very labor-intensive, DUSTY process. Fortunately we weren't living in our home during the installation. Unfortunately, there were a couple major mistakes made. We felt disappointed and immediately communicated the problems to Nancy the next day (Friday before Memorial Day). Nancy assured us that she would share our concerns during a large meeting that same day and that Toluca would resolve the issues. Well, Toluca came out on the following Monday, Memorial Day, to make things right. The final result turned out exactly as we had planned, and we are very pleased with the results. I will note that their installation team could have been more professional by cleaning up after themselves instead of leaving trash and tools behind, and this was also mentioned to Toluca. However, I have to give Toluca credit for standing up to their mistakes and following through to make sure we felt completely satisfied. They certainly did that in several ways, and we appreciate them. I want to give Honorato a shout out because he was enjoyable to interact with, and he helped build my confidence in Toluca. He came out twice for the initial and final measurements before the install, and he came out a third time on Memorial Day to fix the major concerns and a fourth time to fine tune a hole cut that we needed to enlarge. We would consider Toluca again for the future, and we recommend researching them for your countertop project.
