I did two jobs this year with Mike Hamilton of Arbor Pro. The first was the trimming of my large Valley Oak approximately 80 feet tall. This tree shades my back yard by it leans toward my house. It needs to be trimmed on the outermost branches to reduce torque on the tree. This requires a "scissor lift,"rather than climbing the tree, to reach the ends of the limbs. Mike did this once again and expertly removed the outermost small branches. Removing 6 to 8 thousand pounds without damaging the structural branches. The looks great and is ready for wind to blow through without stressing the limbs. The second job was the removal of three 120' tall redwoods. These stunning trees are too close to my house ( less than 20') and are lifting concrete slabs in the driveway. Two of the three are double tops meaning the last 20to 30 feet is weak due to the crotch. The potential for large section falling from height is considerable. This happened on a previous redwood destroying a fence but fortunately missing a home. Mike expertly and safely removed all three of these magnificent trees without incident and ground out the stumps. He removed them in large sections for use in saw mills. So the redwood boards produced can be useful to others. I greatly respect Mike's skill in managing his team and using his equipment, especially his crane skills in the process. read more

Had to trim a large Oak that was over my house. Arbor Pro came in with a "Cherry Picker" and did a great job. They cleaned up all the tree cuttings with out using a noisy chipper, which was fabulous. Very professional. Lot's of great information and very friendly. Would use them again when the tree needs another hair cut. read more

Mike and his team did an amazing job removing four tree stumps. He's very professional, pays attention to detail, and has top-notch equipment. Mike and Dex just came out and did an amazing job of removing a huge tree and wood debris that had fallen down a hillside. They were efficient and even went above and beyond, hauling away some old wood not included in our agreement. There was no damage to my fence or plants and the clean up was excellent. Turned 1.3 acres of hillside oaks from unkept dying, fire hazards, into a park setting. Added mulch to bare ground for added moisture. "chipped on site". Clean, neat and professional. They are highly knowledgeable and informative about our particular trees, and were very helpful in their suggestions regarding the culling of our trees. We were left with a beautiful yard, along with great tips on deep watering, feeding nutrients to our trees, and considerations for the future. There aren't enough stars to rate this company. They responded to our call quickly with modern equipment and the knowhow to lift a large oak tree off our roof without it causing any more damage. It was so interesting to watch Mike use remote control to maneuver the crane and the bucket to methodically cut, lift and remove the large heavy branches. The stump was ground and disappeared. When they were done everything was cleaned up. I highly recommend this company. read more

I can't say enough great things about Mike Hamilton and his crew at Arbor Pro. Mike came out and did the estimate when he said he would. He turned the estimate around quickly, came to our home to do the actual work when he said he would come, and with a full crew. They were here for three full days: they trimmed palm trees, trimmed eucalyptus trees, they took out five trees, and cleaned up bushes and smaller trees. Their equipment - particularly the 54' crane that fits through a standard garden gate (amazing!) - was first rate and obviously well-maintained. They took away all of the cuttings and cleaned up after themselves. They were professional and courteous, and Mike himself was here to supervise his guys (who were also polite and professional) and to communicate with us. These folks are absolutely gifted in thoughtfully trimming and crafting beauty -- I wouldn't have even guessed they did as much as they did because my trees look so amazing. They are reasonable, kind, COVID conscious, and so clean. They left the yard as they found it (maybe even a little better!) and they were so kind and respectful throughout. I will never go elsewhere! We contacted this company on the recommendation of my wife's friend. The father of the owner came out, looked at our over grown trees, and spoke to us about what we wanted done. He provided us with an estimate for the work we wanted done; the estimate was a bit higher than another company, but we decided to go with Arbor Pro because we felt this company knew what was needed for our trees (we felt this company had the expertise to do right by our trees; I did not want any unlicensed amateurs trimming our trees and making a mess of our landscaping). The workers and owner showed up as promised, deployed their heavy duty equipment and trimmed our trees, removed some over grown trees and trimmed our hedges. They took care to avoid our water system and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. The work was absolutely first rate; our trees were properly and most importantly, esthetically trimmed. I highly recommend this company if you want high quality tree trimming services done. You get what you pay for and with Arbor Pro, we got our moneys worth. read more
