I came with an assessment from recent oil change literally in my hand, told them exactly what was needed via telephone prior to my visit, and again in person when I arrived (tie rod ends & sway bar link), and assumed that 3 hours later that's what they would have completed. Instead, I was presented with a bill for a $95 diagnostic for the exact items I had already outlined (additionally assessing a need for new front tires) and a changed license plate bulb. When I asked if that diagnostic fee would apply to future work, as has been my experience with every other auto diagnostic in my life, they said that would not be the case and offered me an undue lesson in what it means to pay your staff for their time. I will not be returning. P.S. It may be worth noting that both female reviewers had negative experiences with these guys. In the auto industry, dismissive and negative treatment of women is rampant.

He told me they were going to work on it right away and so I said great! After confirming that the water pump had broken and that they could have it repaired the same day I was very surprised and impressed. I did get a little concerned with the estimate but up to this point everything had gone better then expected so I went ahead and told them to get it repaired. Later that afternoon I got a call telling me that The job was done so I went in and picked it up after they let me know about a payment option which I qualified for and all was good again in my life!! The job carries a two year or 20,000 mile warranty and I even had my original cost for the inspection returned to me which I needed. I highly recommend dirks transmission and repairs to anyone with a small to large repair and need it done quickly and with complete professionalism. I will be going back for any future repairs and maintenance needed on my daily driver C6 Corvette 2008. Thanks Omar and the entire staff at Dirks auto repair. I wanted to post an update as of the end of the week of the repairs being completed and I did take my car back to Dirks because of a smell of antifreeze and just wanted to be safe. So there was a small leak in a heater hose that went undetected during the final pressure test performed. Omar told me to bring it in and we can take a second look so I did and it does happen, there was a small leak in a heater hose and it needed to be replaced as well.
