My first and last tattoo by her were just amazing, came out perfect. The middle one, the biggest and most colorful piece she has done on me I love but it needs to be touched up in a lot of areas. I've already gone to her once to touch it up and still need to go back for more touch up on it. Seemed unhappy that I requested a free touch-up which kinda put me off. Other than that, all work I've seen by her is awesome and she's a very nice friendly down to earth person.

I was extremely nervous, but excited, about getting my piercings done, and Nick answered all of my questions thoroughly, assured me that my nerves were normal, and made sure that I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. I could not be happier with the results, and with the service that I received while I was at Yankee Tattoo. Even the atmosphere was great, the shop is well lit, and the walls are covered with artwork. So I walked to this place that was open, it was weird a lot of tattoo shops closes early, so I found this place, the staff was awesome!! I wanted a basic tattoo and got a butterfly, always wanted a butterfly, love butterflies the woman at the front desk was pretty cool and helped me pick the right one (yes there are many different butterflies) and also had to find the perfect size for where I wanted it, I didn't want it too big or small. The guy who did mine was pretty cool as well, very patient when I was telling him where I wanted it. It didn't take long to do, actually fell asleep, and it turned out beautifully. The outlines of the butterfly was pretty badass. Loved it. If anyone is looking for a place to get a tattoo here around Burlington, I would definitely go here. Vibes are amazing here as well. In my opinion to get a tattoo, something that is going to be on your body for the rest of your life you need to develop a relationship with your tattooist. You need to be able to go to your tattooist and say to them this is what I vision on my body. Your tattooist needs to be able to see your vision and be able to tell you what they can and can't do, and to put that vision into effect. I went to Kevin Graf of Goat Head Grafix with an idea. I told him that I wanted my arm covered with certain symbols for law-enforcement but I wanted them to look beaten and used , like they have gone through hell. He saw what I wanted , tweaked it a little bit with me and marked me for life with the tattoo that I absolutely wanted. I came to him again with another idea Kevin tweaked it and at this point I realized that I had found the tattooist I was going to use for both my arm sleeves.Not only is Kevin talented, him and his wife Cindy are just good people. Every time I walk into that shop Kevin either has a handshake or a hug for me and Cindy is just the same. So yes the other 20 tattoos on my body Are Kevin Graf originals.I will not let anybody else touch my arms Kevin is going to sleeve them both. Also his pricing is a lot lower than you would think especially for the quality of work you get. We ended up having to cancel because no one bothered to communicate with us. When the owner, finally messaged me back, he played victim and somehow made it my fault that no one returned our emails, calls or texts! Unbelievable. I have been getting tattoos since 1985, I have literally hundreds of tattoos and have never been treated so poorly by any tattoo studio in my life. Don't waste your time with Bury the Needle. Go to a tattoo artist who appreciates and respects their clients.

Whereas others who've worked on me have shown a real interest in getting a design right, Tom was clearly focused on getting me in and out quickly so he could go to the local fair. The layout and placement of the design are terrible, and he went way too deep, leaving me a scabby mess for almost a month. Tom completely lacked basic "bedside manners," and spent much of the time chattering with his girlfriend. There are far better tattooists in the area (Lila at Rock City Tattoo in Barrie is amazing), so save your time and money and go elsewhere.
