I strapped that baby on and moseyed on down to check it out! Arriving- It's on Avon Park's Main Street about a minute from US Route 27 and simple to find. There is a small parking lot complete with easy access for those needing a handicapped spot. Ambience- This is one of the most beautifully merchandised stores I've seen in some time. It's spotlessly clean and meticulously arranged. It was a true pleasure to wander around and check everything out. My pictures do not do it justice! Customer Service- I was greeted by a delightful young lady who expertly answered all of my questions. Unfortunately, she was unimpressed with my giant Yelp belt buckle, but I didn't hold that against her! Product- You come here for western clothes and accessories. Hats, boots, belts, shirts, and jeans. It's all there and so beautifully organized, it's easy to find your size. I'd say they are a mid-priced store. See my pic for some beautiful shirts that were on sale for $39. These folks are owned by locals, and I always appreciate that! A friendly and not pushy salesperson approached within a minute. Like the great customer that I am I had my filters ready to narrow down my choices. No leather, no sleeper sofa, no wildflower prints etc., etc. I specifically mentioned I didn't want any prints of wild naked women on my sofa. After she stopped laughing my salesperson said she thought she could avoid that! After about twenty minutes a found my perfect sofa. Not bad! I was told it need to be ordered and would be delivered on July 19th. I paid and was out the door and smiling in thirty minutes. On July 18th I received the delivery call and agreed to the delivery window. The guys arrived on time and the delivery was perfect. They removed my old sofa for a small fee. So what can I say. I was completely satisfied and not for the first time! I'll be back!

Time Commitment- This is a small museum. Ninety minutes and most folks will be done. What to Expect- As the name suggests, expect the focus to be on Florida including the artists. It's a great way to learn about this wonderful state! Cost- Every time I have been here it has been free with donations requested. Hours- Extremely limited. Check first before you go. This is not a "Destination" location. It's the kind of place you visit when you are in the area and have a few minutes. Yelp will give you plenty of places for lunch within five minutes of here. What a great place to walk off that huge platter of Gator Bites & giant pitcher of beer!

It was large and organized and the prices were very, very reasonable. They have clothes but they also have bric a brac -- including a separate room for glassware; They have tools and related items in a separate area called the man cave; a separate section marked kids; a room with books and records... and artwork and more kitchen stuff and china, et al around the perimeter. Add in the shoes and some furniture plus the jewelry by the checkout counter.... And it's a full merchandise store. Their monies go to helping seniors and for elderly care (and their caregivers) in the area. So it's a good cause. As I said, prices are such that I can't imagine you won't find at least a little something to purchase here.

Although most of the produce was less loved we were able to enjoy the variety of plants on the outside of the shop and engage in some meaningful conversation with the owners son. You come here for paint, painting supplies, and expert advice. The key here is the expert advice. If I wanted just paint, I could go to either of the big box stores that we all know. Getting decent advice at them is hit and miss at best. That's why I go here. On my latest visit I had some very old paint that I wanted to match. I'm talking fifteen or twenty years old. I brought in the actual old cans for two different gallons. I thought it was so old it would be junk. I was prepared to buy two new quarts if not gallons. These excellent folks studied it, remixed it, figured out and labeled the colors and said to me, "Steven B, don't waste your money! This paint is still good to go and thank you for stopping by again! They could have easily made a sale but instead they did the right thing and that's why I'll keep coming back!

I purchased paint and had it matched to a color I needed and they did a perfect job! Arriving- They are in Sebring on Route 98 about 1.5 miles from US Route 27. They are a snap to find. There is a small parking lot but it's a small range so it's really not a problem. History- The range itself has been around for multiple decades. It's family-owned and the current folks have had it since 2016. Ambience- If you have never been to a gun range there are usually two basic areas. This range follows the pattern. There is the range itself where the shooting takes place and then there is the store. Here you can buy/sell/rent guns, purchase ammo and accessories etc. The two rooms get the job done in fine fashion. Customer Service- On this visit I worked with Crystal who is the owner. She is knowledgeable and pleasant with a no-nonsense attitude which is exactly the way it should be around firearms! Range- Eight, 25-yard lanes. Clean and well maintained. The Range Fee is $15 per person with no time limit. Nice! A wide range of guns are available to rent for a nominal fee. This business gives you a safe, inexpensive place to shoot and as a bonus you get to deal with nice folks! Sounds like a winner to me!
