I was genuinely excited about participating in the Holiday Market at Sonny's Place. I toured the grounds with one of their ambassadors, discussed my accessibility needs, and was told they'd help me secure a comfortable setup. I even took the time to alert their team about scam posts on Facebook from people pretending to collect vendor fees--trying to protect their community. Instead of being met with professionalism or gratitude, I was removed as a vendor without explanation. No courtesy call, no clarity, nothing but dismissive behavior from Mackenzie, the person handling vendor relations. After everything I shared and the effort I put in, her response made it clear how poorly these events are managed. To make matters worse, the building itself is not ADA accessible, which violates the basic principles of ADA Title III. As a full-time wheelchair user, that alone speaks volumes. Equal access should never be an afterthought. I came in with good faith, ready to create something beautiful for families and children. Instead, I left disappointed, stressed, and honestly shocked at how little care was given to accessibility or communication. Vendors--especially those of us in the disability community--should think twice before signing up. Avoid the headache and the heartache. You deserve better than this.

Had fun bowling but would recommend getting there early to get first round of drinks before…read morestarting to bowl- We started before 6pm, which is when it seems like waitservice to lanes starts. Getting drinks for a group of 8 at the bar took about 20 mins/ there was only 1 bartender for awhile. When waitservice did start drink service was still pretty slow. Not sure if this is the spot for avid bowlers but was fun for a recreational experience . They had an arcade with various arcade games to choose from, but seems like you always end up with money left on your "arcade card". Drinks were pretty cheap though not very strong for the cocktails. Food portions were pretty big for the plates to share, though pretty average in quality. We tried the nachos and tater tots. Overall, would return.

Went here on a whim after dropping off a friend at the airport during February Vacation in 2024…read more It's roughly an hour drive for us from home, but since we were already in the area, it was cool to drop in with it close. We had a lot of fun. The place was mostly empty, so we had different activities to ourselves and minimal wait times. The laser tag was fun. Kiddo wanted to be against me, so I was tag teamed. Ha ha! The Escape room was challenging. We had to use some hints to solve it, but I'd definitely do another theme there in the future, as it was worth the energy and time put in. You have an hour to solve the puzzles. Bowling was big ball, which we don't get to do very often. One great thing is that the bumpers are set to put up and down automatically based on the player. Went somewhere recently where they had to be up the whole time or down...that was frustrating. The staff here were great! Very friendly and professional. Extremely helpful. We are looking forward to another visit in the future.

We had an awesome time here for my school-aged kids' birthday. While we love coming here in…read moregeneral, the birthday party was particularly fabulous and the focus of this review. It's well organized and there is a small area and a large area right by the entrance, flanking the ticket redemption area, the drink counter, and the employee desk. Great location for it. There's two flatscreen TVs in the large area and one flatscreen TV in the small one. Ability to turn off/on lights. We were able to fit high 20's number of kids in the small party area. Service and coordination was particularly great. Megan was our lead person, and she provided excellent concierge service. We were frankly surprised how great she was and attentive. We just assumed we'd be in for some chaos but nope, guided us, paced us, and was very attentive. You bring your own drinks and cake, and they have pizza baked in house. The pizza is really good. Wow. Move over boring kid birthday pizza. They take the cake back for you and cut it up and serve it. They clean up. They help with pizza distribution. They wheel in and out the carts with gifts (and coats this time of year) into and out of the party area. So if you want to stay around longer after the party area reservation, you're welcome to and they've got multiple carts to keep your things. The distribution of some of the credits on cards before and after was great. And the A or B on the cards of the kids to divide up the laser tag was great. And our kid got to do both times since it was their birthday. The area and place/setting is fun. Lots of different types of games. Everything was working -- a rarity for an arcade. There's better or worse use of credits, of course, as there is everywhere. I loved the variety though. There were electronic games, claw games, multiplayer games, violent and non-violent, physical sport/skill games (basketball shooting, ski ball, drop ball), and both ticket earning and non-ticket earning games. The redemption area has a large variety of choices and they're displayed well to enable kids to make choices without long queues. The laser tag area is surprisingly large and very fun for the kids. It's gotta be 2-3x larger than the rest of the arcade. The price here was great. Lots of folks will seek outer suburbs of Boston for good prices but all in this was a steal compared to some other options. And the other families loved it. Kids were raving about it through the school week, and multiple people said they're going to bring their families back here again soon and many for birthday parties.

Is it just me or is the pizza here actually pretty amazing? i have only been here for birthday…read moreparties but I am realizing that the pizza here that is made in house is different from other places and for birthday party pizza it is way better than delivering it into wherever the venue is. It's rectangular and super thick and i didn't think much of it until my son wolfed down two slices so fast i was not believing. so I had one. and i tried another weird pie called CBLT or something and it looked scary drizzled with ranch but crazy good! I think im just going to make excuses to come here again to try the pizza...the arcade games are definitely not really for little kids but pretty fun for older kids and grownups but it's nice that even if you have teensy kid points you can still get decent toy prizes and candy.

We already booked a room at a different location before we knew the MGM was there. We utilized our MGM cards (MGM really supports Veterans) for parking (did not have too as it was free-LOL). We parked, toured the casino, grabbed a sandwich and took advantage of the clean restrooms. We were at the Riverside park when it started sprinkling, so went back to parking garage. We found out they had a free party going upper level of garage with a cover band. We listened to the band, grabbed some food hot off the grill for a reasonable price and prepared to view the fireworks from the cover of the garage. Mother -Nature had other plans, weather turned nasty, band shut-down, and for safety we were moved to lower levels. We still saw the fireworks and exiting afterwards was not terrible. The Staff from Security to Food Venders were polite and helpful the whole evening. They saved our families 4th of July in Springfield.

This was confirmed when I heard them talking about how much money each of them would make off of it in the elevator. I have been to many casinos including MGM and even though casinos probably have drug deals - they are by people smart enough to be discreet and not talk about it in the hallways and elevators. Not here! Springfield has a lot of Violence and drug activity and I am surprised that MGM built a casino there. They should have kept their brand at Foxwoods. Inside the casino the layout is pretty tight, slot machines are very close together. We didn't try any restaurants because we had just come from dinner. We didn't stay long - didn't like the vibe.
