A full‑send, Springfield‑USA, Simpsons‑loving, family‑friendly craft‑beer playground that…read moreabsolutely gets it. Two Weeks Notice is the kind of spot that reminds you why Springfield has its own brand of cool. It's got that gritty‑creative, blue‑collar‑meets‑art‑kid energy, and the brewery leans all the way in with its Simpsons‑inspired humor, cheeky can art, and a vibe that feels like the unofficial taproom of Cool Springfield, USA. The Simpsons theme is everywhere--subtle enough not to feel gimmicky, but clever enough that fans will grin every time they spot a reference. The artwork alone is worth a visit; it's playful, bold, and gives the whole place a personality that stands out in the Western Mass beer scene. The beer selection hits that sweet spot: hazies for the juice chasers, crisp lagers for the purists, and a rotating lineup that keeps regulars on their toes. Everything is poured fresh, cold, and with care. The staff? Genuinely friendly, quick with recommendations, and clearly proud of the place. It's the kind of team that makes you feel like a regular on your first visit. This is one of those rare breweries where bringing kids doesn't feel like a chore. There's space to roam, things to look at, and a relaxed vibe that makes families feel welcome without sacrificing the adult fun. Springfield needs more spots like this. The outdoor space is a total win--open, comfortable, and perfect for warm‑weather hangs. Whether you're sipping a flight, letting the kids burn off energy, or just soaking in the neighborhood, it's one of the best parts of the experience. Cheers

So, if you're sitting at a table in their tap room and want another beer, what do you do? Well, Two…read moreWeeks Notice knows how thirsty you are, so they made it easy for you. See that little stand-up thing on your table that says, "Beer Me?" See that big round button in its center? Well, just press the button, the whole thing lights up, so the staff can see it and someone will be there in a jiff to get you a new glass of suds. Is this a great country or what? I gotta thank my South Carolina buddy Ron for that "great country" line, he texted it back to me after I texted him a photo of the table thingy with an explanation. We loved our visit yesterday -great beer selection, super friendly service, a big spacious seating area (with a large outdoor seating option), terrific artwork on the walls that's for sale, and very nice food service as well. They had sixteen beers on tap yesterday, a nice selection representing different beer styles, and not overly IPA dependent, like some of the breweries I visit. I saw lagers, stouts, and a Kolsch. IPAs were well represented with Imperial Double, Session, New England, and milkshake IPA variants. My wife went with a 16-ounce draft of Weekend Warrior (American Lager - 5% ABV) for a very reasonable $5. I wanted their 12-ounce draft of Keepers of the Cake: Birthday Cake W/Raspberry & Strawberry (a White Stout - 6% ABV) for $8, but that wasn't available, so I went with their unfruited version of the same for $7. I loved my beer and sipped the Weekend Warrior too -both were excellent! Some of the names on the beer list made me chuckle -Pink Slip, Severance Package, Performance Review, and Big Riff. There's live music on Friday nights, and occasional food truck on site, and a separate food vendor (separate ordering and payment) in the back. We got a pretzel and a damned fine loaded hot dog. So where did the brewery's name come from? Years ago, Mark -the current Head Brewer's wife gave him a home beer brewing kit as a birthday gift. He entered a few beer competitions and won, including the prestigious Worthy Brewfest. The website puts it this way "Mark coined the name of the company based off his wish of one day quitting his desk job to pursue his dream of owning and operating his own brewery. It was not long until Mark was absolutely determined to become a true contributor in the craft beer community he loved." Mark found a business partner in his old boss, and the two of them quit together to open the brewery. As my buddy Ron said, is this a great country or what?

Small selection of drinks and snacks at a reasonable price in the lobby. Seats were tight and a little uncomfortable up in balcony area. Staff was helpful and friendly with directing to proper areas and quickly getting drinks and snacks into your hands.

I was the designated driver for my brothers 60th birthday gala- we saw Joe Bonamassa at the Springfield Symphony Hall! We were filed, in -masks required, and walked up the narrow staircases to the main event level. There was a "bar" where you could buy beers, sodas, chips, candy.... maybe bathrooms too. I didn't look too hard because my eye was on the chandelier in the main gathering room and the architecture of this gem! We sat stage right and we're so impressed with the ability to see the show from any angle. I bet there's not a bad seat in the house! I would definitely travel into Mass again to listen or see another show at the Springfield Symphony Hall! The pictures I'm about to share do not do this place justice.

For a "BBQ" place, Theodore's covers all of the usual bases - pulled pork, beef brisket, Baby Back Ribs, Short Ribs, St Louiis style ribs, chicken and sausage too. For those in the mood for something else, they also offer a couple of salads, and a tasty sounding Blackened Chicken Penne, burgers and incongruously, a smoked meatloaf dinner too! I'm a fan of meatloaf, but for this evening, I chose to stick with their staples and thus, the Baby Back Ribs plus my sides of chili and mac n cheese arrived soon upon our table. The Ribs were quite nearly fall-off-the-bone, moist and flavorful - I enjoyed slathering the ribs in the default BBQ sauces in squeeze bottles on our long dining table. PRO TIP: My compatriots who ordered the beef brisket found it dry and not to their liking. Maybe it was just that night.. who knows.. Either way, I wouldn't mind coming back.. Nothing too outstanding, but the ribs were certainly on point for me!

This theater is not just poorly run--it's dangerous and openly breaks laws. The owner discriminates against people with dietary restrictions and special needs, blatantly violating ADA regulations. Customers with medical conditions like Crohn's disease, allergies, or other dietary needs are forced to throw away or put away their safe foods, making it impossible to enjoy their experience. To make matters worse, she refuses refunds when asked and only offers useless coupons--even though most people who endure her mistreatment have no intention of returning. The reason I'm leaving this review is because of how horribly she treats customers--even after you spend $100+ on a trip with your family. If you bring a snack from outside for yourself or a disabled child, even when you're already paying for theater snacks, she makes it an issue. This is ridiculous and overstepping. As a customer, it's none of her business if we bring a specific snack for a medical or personal reason, especially when it's justified and necessary. What makes this even worse is the owner's constant claims that she's running a "small mom-and-pop business." But her behavior is anything but. She acts more like a dictator than a community-focused small business owner. By degrading and harassing customers, she's giving small businesses a bad name. This is not how a true small business should treat people. On top of that, she manipulates her business's reputation by posting fake reviews. For every negative review, several fake positive ones suddenly appear, written by obvious bots. This is a deliberate attempt to mislead the public and cover up how horribly this theater is run. The theater itself feels abandoned and neglected, with stale food, unprofessional staff, and an overall uncomfortable atmosphere. It's not just a bad experience--it's downright concerning. If you've been mistreated at this theater, especially if you were forced to throw away your snacks due to special dietary needs or denied a refund, FILE A REPORT. Contact the ADA, the Better Business Bureau, the health department, and local consumer protection agencies. Consider reaching out to local news stations to bring attention to these serious issues. This theater should not be allowed to continue operating under such shady and illegal practices. Stay away, warn others, and take action!

One star is too much for this place…read more I applied for a position with this college, and they took forever to arrange an interview. Finally one employee called me in confidence, and told me that I had the qualification to be a great success with the school. The place loves Secrecy...and everything has to be held in confience. When I had questions about the process, or wanted an update, I was ghosted. Finally, after the entire hiring process was complete, the Manager contacted me and wanted to set up a meeting, still no answer. Two days later I received a "No Thank You Letter." At one point, in recent history an employee received a large payout because she was able to make the case that she had been discriminated against. I belive because of this, the place is super nervous about hiring staff. The entire process took 4 months, they were very concerned about email messages and about keeping everything very opaque. I was not signing up to join the CIA, just work at a Community College. Because of the way that I had been treated, I would never consider applying for another position at STCC. If a friend or relative asked me, I would tell them the same...the place is very uptight, and they don't hesitate to waste your time.
