She lost her dental hygentist, the one who would clean my teeth, because of what I assume were unpleasant working contidions of working with Stephanie. I'm 80 years old, and on the day of my appointment for my 6 month cleaning, her office called to say she would no longer wanted me as a patient because I would not concent to tooth scaling and root planing. Because my teeth were not bleeding and the expense was prohibitive I told her I just wanted my teeth cleaned as usual. She said she would not do that she did not want me as a patient and that her dad no longer worked in the office anymore. Good luck to any other seniors who only want cleaning because you are no longer profitable for her. Shame!!

I'm like what do my insurance cover? So, pay attention to your EOB and bill before making a payment. When I have called to schedule an appointment with Donna, always tells me, we don't have an appointment available till four or five months from now. I'll go on the Boain website and see a lot of appointment times slots that's available less than a month to schedule. Terrible billing and scheduling department. It's best to self-schedule your appointments online.

However, I was disappointed to learn after the fact that the office only submitted my insurance as general coverage, rather than specifying the exact tooth that was treated. I didn't know that my insurance applied a 5-year waiting period on this tooth, and I ended up paying $860.00 out of pocket over the quote after the procedure that could have been avoided with proper pre-authorization. I wish the administrative team had been more thorough with the insurance process. A simple step -- verifying coverage for the specific tooth -- would have made a big financial difference. I hope they improve this part of their patient support, because the clinical care truly deserves high praise.
