My clean and friendly view as I calmly wait to be seen and meet Dr. Archer
Mariana P.

Than you team! Kevin at the front desk for taking all my phone calls and calming me down when I was a franctic mess, Abigail for working on me with such kindness and a sense of humor! Thank you Dr. Archer for your thoroughness and initial examination. See you all tomorrow for X-rays. Looking forward to moving and feeling 100% and I know that your team will get me there

This is a single practitioner chiropractic office in Mid City New Orleans near North Jeff Davis. (Disclaimer: The owner/practitioner is a personal friend.) Food: There are supplements available. I have never purchased or used them from here. (no rating) Service: Bar none, one of the best chiropractic practices in the city. On top of chiropractic service, there is also message therapy available. Both Dr. Archer and Dan Heidel, the massage therapist, are well-versed and highly proficient in their fields. Both they and their office staff are quite friendly as well. Treatment typically ends with resolution of issues. Little wait time, particularly if you schedule your visit ahead of time. They accept cash, credit, major medical insurance (contact them to make sure they are a provider on your plan), and accident claims. 5 stars Facilities: Nestled in the first floor of a dual-use residential/commercial building near the corner of Canal Street and North Jefferson Davis, there is off street parking behind the building as well as some spots on the street in front and on the side of the building. The entrance is covered, and the clinic sign makes the location visible easily from Canal Street. The inside is sparkling clean. There is a modality therapy room, a massage room, and chiropractic treatment room that doubles as the doctor's office. Also, there is a small waiting room with a front desk and a bathroom, if needed. The clinic is decorated exactly as one should be for this type of business--a mix of medically-relevant pictures with calming artwork. It is quiet and relaxing inside. 5 stars Overall: I highly suggest Dr. Archer and Dan Heidel for treatment of neuromusculoskeletal issues, such as headache, back pain, sciatica, muscle soreness, post-trauma rehabilitation, arthritis and general joint pain, whiplash, and other associated problems. 5 stars

There was the loveliest receptionist there who said to come on in and she would fit me in. I had no clue Dr Jay utilized acupressure so I went in totally open minded and left a believer of acupressure. It's pretty cool. There were some weeks that he advised I visit 2-3/week which seemed excessive but I could definitely notice relief happening. Eventually I got down to once a week then as needed. I went an entire year without an adjustment at one point. The office is nicely decorated. It's kinda dark and relaxing so when I would go often, it felt like a break from my day. When I started seeing Dr Jay, I was 22 and sometimes could not get out of bed without help and now I recommend him to everyone who asks for a great chiropractor. Dr Jay is also the kindest man. I actually enjoyed our appointments and never felt like he wasn't certain which patient I am. Even after moving away and coming back, I went to see Dr Jay and there was no evidence he had forgotten who I was and it was like I was never gone. That's pretty important to me. All in all, if you're having problems with your back, Dr Jay is the man. I honestly feel like he gave me my life back.

I had thought that I wasn't going to be able to afford regularly seeing a doctor but I have found the prices to be fantastic for the level of care. She's always helpful and willing to explain what's going on and where. It's great to not only feel good but I'm learning a ton about the body and that everything is connected! She is flexible and super easy to talk too! I would highly recommend you visiting! I love the ease of booking online, showing up and being charged without having to pull out my wallet. Plus- gotta love a military discount, but I would go regardless. Another plus, I love that the space she works offers so many other amazing resources. Acupuncture and a masseuse are under the same roof!

I have to move for military reasons so finding someone I like is crucial at each area. I've been to a female chiropractor before and was disappointed in the adjustment as she had hurt my neck and I'm not a fan of drop tables. I had left still stiff and aching. Needless to say I was skeptical of seeing another female chiropractor but as I'm military and dealing with Tri Care is an absolute nightmare, the ease of visiting at a moments notice when I needed it most was too important. I can say I was 100% relieved with the quality of adjustment Dr. Alicia gave. I have no doubt she can throw around some of the biggest guys I've seen and make them feel like jello after. There's absolutely no reason to be skeptical of her or her practices; she can be more physical or strong pressure if need be or gentle as well. Would recommend for anyone.
