Always does a good job with Tiffany. She seems to enjoy her day of beauty at the spa.

The gal that checked me in was very nice and personable and I didn't have to wait that long before Taylor greeted me and took myself and Mimi (cat) back to the exam room. I made Taylor aware that Mimi was not a good patient due to a bad experience with a previous vet years ago. She's never gotten over it. Dr. Howard came in and was also made aware of how Mimi was abused and that she would be upset with anything that was done. Taylor and Dr. Howard were so respectful, patient and kind with Mimi. Mimi sensed that and although she still wasn't happy being there or them, she did very well. I also want to thank Kat assisting Taylor and Dr. Howard. She got what was needed in a timely manner & she has a great smile! A lot of credit to Dr. Howard on the best exam Mimi's ever had in 13 years! She was slow, gentle and very through. Prior to Mimi's rabies shot Taylor was sweet enough to get Mimi one of the tubes of what I call gravy. Mimi loves that. At first she was hesitant so I had Taylor put some in my hand and while Mimi was licking it up Dr. Howard gently gave Mimi her shot. Normally Mimi would have jumped and loudly protested. She didn't do either one! She did hiss which is no big deal, but her normal rage didn't happen. For the first time ever while I was talking to the doctor and Mimi was still on the examination table she laid down. I took my hand off of her and she stayed on the table instead of jumping down and running to get into carrier. That told me volumes about how much more comfortable she'd become on her first visit. All animal lovers know how they can sense positive and negative situations. That was a stamp of approval from Mimi I've never seen ever in 13 years! Mimi & I are new to Gainesville and after reading the reviews on Town & Country I felt confident in taking Mimi there. I'm so thankful that I did.

I'n not sure what magic powers Tye, the manager of the boarding facility has, but their dedication to animal care and confidence when dealing with difficult animals is remarkable. I am speechless! Tye, as well as other staff members I did not get names of, were extremely patient with my cat when he had a very difficult start while being boarded at their facility. They were so communicative and made an incredible effort to make my cat feel comfortable during his stay. He started out terrified and by the end of his stay, was cuddling the employees brave enough to enter his lair. These folks are true animal lovers - I know this because my cat can be a handful and they were kind enough to still give him a nice report card. Tye and Dr. Moser went above and beyond to keep me updated and to help reduce my cat's stress. The dedication of their team is astounding and I'm incredibly grateful to Tye and the rest of the team for turning my wildcat into a love bug and saving my vacation.

I gave it a try during my first visit a tech was looking directly at my dog's vaccination records all typed out and said my dog needed rabies vaccination. I said no he had it . She repeated two times and stared at the one sheet document that it says he does not have it. I asked if I could see the document and she showed me, i immediately pointed to next rabies due 2028. It was very concerning. I Reported back to same place for my for my other dogs surgery. They weighed him and the surg tech came out and said we need a reweigh, 10 pounds difference ( good surgery tech) Sure enough the same tech that could not read a chart 3 days prior wrote the weight down wrong -10 lbs. So two dogs two mistakes same day. One would have gotten another rabies vaccination and the other potential meds/anesthesia issues. Furthermore they take dogs back for vaccinations. Do them in front of parents, these are our kids. First of all I want the vet to give vaccination and not in back room. Should not have gone here. It did not get better, post surgery i had issues. Called in the am, front desk said send picture, i did. She said she would share it with vet. 5 hrs later i had to call. She said oh yeah he said, .... why didn't someone call. There was more, it got worse not better. Just disappointed. To me too many staff members. Too many errors.

Not only has Devon helped Alice with her specialized training, but they've also worked with Zoey and David on refresher lessons and day-to-day living strategies to make managing three very different dogs much easier. Devon's approach is amazing--they adjust their training methods to align with what I'm comfortable with, creating a collaborative and supportive experience. It's never about right or wrong; it's about finding what works best for you and your dog. We've done in-person lessons and board-and-trains, and every time, Alice comes home better than when she left. Alice adores Devon, and knowing she's happy and in such capable hands makes all the difference. Devon is easy to communicate with, incredibly knowledgeable, and truly cares about the well-being of every dog they work with. I can't recommend them enough

I wasn't sure how he would do woth other animals but Devon immediately assured me that they would be able to handle Kapano in their house for his boarding! I was impressed as he came back more confident and mannered around other dogs. I was consistently sent updates and photos of him throughout his stay and made to feel more than welcome to visit. He also came back to me in better shape in terms of muscle! If there was anything Devon had questions about they had no issues contacting me right away to let me know or ask about, I felt very comfortable and safe with my dog remaining under Devons care. I had never had to leave my dog with anyone before so i was reasonably worried as he's been my bestfriend for 6 years but i am EXTREMELY satisfied with Devons services and will continue to use devon for any training/boarding related needs for the future. I cannot recommend Arcane Canine enough! And thank you Devon for taking the best care of my boy when I needed it the most you are amazing!

Because of how much he was suffering, we made the heartbreaking decision to have him euthanized. We paid for an individual cremation and were specifically told that his ashes would be returned the following Monday, August 17. Based on that information, we believed he would be picked up and handled promptly. When I followed up on August 20 to ask if we could pick up his ashes since we hadn't heard anything, I was shocked to be told that the crematorium had only picked him up on Monday, August 17. That means our dog Riley apparently remained at the clinic for an entire week before even being transported for cremation. We received no phone call, no update, and no explanation that there had been any delay. Had we been told that our dog was going to remain there for a week, we absolutely would have made other arrangements. I would have personally transported him to the crematorium rather than leave him there for that length of time. What makes this even more upsetting is that we paid specifically for an individual cremation because it was extremely important to us that we receive our dog's ashes back. After being given incorrect information about the timeline, I am now left questioning the entire process and simply hoping that the ashes eventually returned to us are actually his. I understand that veterinary clinics may refrigerate or freeze remains while awaiting cremation. That is not the issue. The issue is that we were told his ashes would be back on August 17, when he apparently had not even left the clinic until that day. There is a major difference. When someone has just lost a pet they have loved for 15 years, communication, honesty, and respectful handling of their remains should be treated with the utmost importance. This was already an incredibly painful experience for our family, and the way this was handled made it significantly worse. We are extremely disappointed and offended by the lack of communication and transparency surrounding our dog's final arrangements by this clinic. Not to mention, we'll have to wait an additional week for him to be able to be picked up if they can even deliver on that promise, at this point, I have very little faith.

NEVER TAKE YOUR DOGS HERE!!!!!!!…read more This was the first time I've had to board my dogs and what I first imagined would be a great experience quickly turned into a horrific nightmare when I picked them up this morning. They failed to administer one of my dog's Trifexis the day it was due and Tere said it was "no big deal missing it since it was just Trifexis", "it was Christmas day a lot of dogs were on medications, so she got busy and sorry, but she just forgot". I expressed my disappointment as explicit instructions were left for medications and they failed to adhere to them as instructed. She facetiously commented, "well I can give it to him now!" She began accusing me of being rude when I promptly reminded her I have every right to be upset as a disappointed customer whose instructions left with them were completely disregarded. Additionally, they told me only 2 VIP spots were available when I first called to make a reservation (I asked to ask if they had availability for the holidays and Tere said they just had 2 cancellations in the VIP hut, so the cost would be $65/night for mine as that was the ONLY option). When I came to pick them up, I learned mine weren't in the "VIP dog hut" due to a switch Tere said they had to make (she advised they had a Great Pyrenees that didn't get along with any dogs so they had to isolate him in the VIP hut that mine had the reservation for). Instead, her son, Cody advised they slept in another shed/kennel area on the bed with him... I understand last minute changes, but the fact remains, she advised only 2 VIP spots were available and the reservation was made for the VIP spot. This was yet another service they failed to provide as was guaranteed (like them not administering Trifexis as directed nor did they give Loki all doses of his prescribed medication which I learned later). In response to the VIP "change" which they never even called to notify me of, Tere stated, "Well I can charge you for the VIP costs if that's what you want!" Yet again....another rude, sarcastic comment from this individual....blew my mind. We got around to payment, which she had no invoice or receipt for as I requested before swiping my card and she again facetiously commented, "Well, we're not Pet Paradise!" I simply requested a receipt verifying payment, which she assured me the card swiper on her phone would send email receipt...which it didn't. While I waited for her to go inside and print out a paper receipt for me, I noticed one of my dogs (Leyna) licking at her front paw again. I had noticed it earlier when I arrived, but thought nothing of it until now when I found a huge GASH on the side of her right front paw pad, causing it to hang open. I inspected the rest of her body and found several other scrapes and cuts, but those appeared to be just from rough-housing with other dogs, so only the massive gash caused me great concern. After calling me vet to get her in ASAP, I rushed to the front door to confront them about this gash and Tere said, "Well I would've seen blood if it happened here." Mind you...we haven't even left the premises, so clearly this took place on their property. There is no speaking to this woman rationally, so as soon as I got me receipt, I rushed to the vet. I'm now home anxiously waiting for the call back from the vet after her procedure is complete. Her sedation and procedure begin around noon and is estimated to be completed around 2 or so. The estimated cost for such a procedure will be $552-667, which will be determined once they get in there to operate and see how severe the damage actually is. This has been the worst experience and it is only just beginning for Leyna and I. If you love and care for your dog's, DO NOT, I REPEAT...DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR DOG'S TO DANCIN' DOGS!!!!!!!
