Archibald SIsters is the only place I can find my favorite grapefruit scented cologne! They have every wonderful scent ever invented and others besides! Archibalds is the best place to find someone a funny gift or wise-ass greeting card and they also carry a huge selection of gourmet soap and jewelry. I love this store. As a native Olympian I look past the higher prices and notice what is important-funky selection and yummy smelling lotions. Today the service was lacking. GET OFF YOUR PHONE! I'm coming back, of course, because there are some things you just can't get elsewhere. However, I'd love to see the management implement a 'no phones on the sales floor policy'. Every time I go into this store, I leave smelling like a brothel. I love going in to test the vast amount of scents, and always leave with a new favorite...at least for that week. I'm fickle, ya see. I am a proud hoarder of scents from here. I am also pleased that there is at least one store that still sells cat-eye sunglasses! I just can't do the big 80's glasses that are all the rage now (but they have 'em)...I suffered through that already as a child. Lots of unique items (bacon wallets!). I will recommend to try and resist the urge to buy the zombie mints. As tempting as they are, they taste like gerbil food. read more

I have been shopping at Archibald Sisters since i was a kid, my mom used to let me check out the toy section while she got her lotion refills. Then in high school i worked at the store, and even came back and worked some Holiday seasons while in college. I am friends with the owner and his family to this day, and i can't say enough good things about the store and people. I have met many friend through the store and probably will meet more in the future. I've been going to Archibald Sisters since circa 96' when ever my cool aunt rescued us from our teentsy tiny town out in the boondillies she'd take us to Olympia and we'd always go to Archibal Sisters! Absolutely love Olympia Rain to me it smells like nothing else I could buy to rub all over my limbers to make them smell scentsational! And now living days away in the middle of the desert people seem to notice the scent even more I get oodles of compliments on how tasty I always smell. I make it a point to visit and stock up everytime I get home to WA. Wish they'd beef up their website it's pretty dorky. read more

LOVE Archibald sisters and their lotion collection. I like to buy the mini 2oz lotions and pair them with something, because they make perfect gifts and all my friends/family have always loved them. A little bummed I fell like there isn't as much funky cool stuff as in the past. I don't go in much anymore because I used to find lots more gifts than now. All i have to say is that I have struggled with what i thought was incurable acne since i was 14 years old, (no, not 3 zits on my chin, SERIOUS acne that had taken over my entire face and shoulder area) I've tried all the creams, washes, antibiotics, 3 different dermatologists, etc. But i tried Archibald Sisters Oatmeal Complexion Bar, as a last hope type of thing and i'm still AMAZED to say that my acne disappeared in no longer than a WEEK!!! You can find just about anything in this place: old-school candy (classics like Adams Clove or Black Jack gum), journals, books, fun pins, hand-made cards, gag gifts, obnoxious bumperstickers, silver jewelry, superhero panties, bacon lip balm, wrapping paper, socks, lube, an original design T-shirt/hoody rack, baby shower gifts, and the BEST hat selection (matching socks or gloves). At the back of Archibald's you will find an outstanding parfumerie. They've got over 200 options (single scent) or you can try an original Archibald Sisters signature scent, such as Oly Girl or Olympia Rain. If you are the creative/brave type, you can try blending your own scents to formulate a unique perfume of your very own. In fact, they will happily add your scent invention to shampoo, soap, bubble bath, hand lotion, you name it! During the holidays, they somehow cram more goodies in than usual. Fun decorations & one of a kind tree ornaments. Sometimes, I have gotten jealous: like the time I found a Batman diaper bag when I'd just settled with a generic pink one. Last time I was in AS, they had these weird rubber masks/hoods that completely covered your head: horse, raven, chipmunk, deer, cockatoo, rooster, unicorn, cardinal, maybe a salmon...
