Reading these reviews, this place must have gotten some new management because I love it here!! Besides the normal tweeker every once in a while outside the store, this AMPM rocks!! I love their cold case selection and the bean to cup coffee. The little Asian lady who I believe is the assistant manager is the sweetest person. I love seeing her when I go in. Not sure why this only has 1 star from 8 other reviewers. Maybe a troll who dislikes the owner / an employee there logged a bunch of fake reviews? Gas prices are usually the best you'll in Arlington. Staff is always friendly. Convenience store has nice selection and there is never a line The only reasons I give it 4 stars instead of 5 are that it's difficult to get out of the parking lot with traffic and people drive WAY to fast through there. They use the parking lot as a shortcut to avoid the light. So be careful not to get run over walking from the gas pump into the store. read more

The owner of this gas station owns more than 20 gas stations in the west coast. Avoid this place at all cost... my truck was damaged and the roof rack destroyed in their car wash which before I bought the wash I asked the employee (she was in front of car wash and saw the height of my truck) if my truck will be ok, she said i would be just fine. Now I contact the headquarters (s&s petroleum in Kirkland). After so many frustrating phone calls they gave me the contact for regional manager Augustus. This liar texted me to meet up at certain date he doesn't show up and now he won't reply my calls and texts. Totally screwed up. Please don't help this business! read more

I can't believe how much I've been embarrassment this station is to Arco and a.m. p.m. The station is at 172nd St. and Smokey Point Boulevard in Arlington, WA 98223. it's absolutely ridiculous and it's gotten to the point where it's just a farce and it's on an extremely busy corner and Arco continues to do nothing about it and they make it virtually impossible to get through to someone in corporate to complain about their gas station. The card readers are continually down, the gauges on the gas pump are so scratched up and so worn down that you have to struggle to see how much gas is going in or what the prices is at. Some of the stuff inside has an extremely passive/ aggressive attitude and it's not worth dealing with them. I went in today and the whole soda bar is down and not working. I have gotten bad gas out of there twice and won't get burned again. The list is simply too long to put it all here. To be very clear on this point this is been going on for over a year now at the station. So it's nothing short term or temporary as it is the way they do business at the station. Worst AM/PM ever pay at the pump what a joke. Nothing is ever fixed. You have to go inside and wait in line. This store takes the convenience out of convenience store. read more

Over the last year I've had the recurrent problem of having the card readers not work. Today not only were 3 of 4 card readers disfunctional but the pump shut down after pumping only about a gallon of gas in my car with an "err" message (so first I'm running around the station looking for a card reader to work, then I'm driving around the station looking for a working pump.) I went to talk with the manager and was told, "she is busy." I was referred to the the company contact information posted on the outside of the building, which was also listed as the emergency contact. Almost predictably the number rolled over to voicemail. I'm left wondering what kind of manager is too busy to talk with an (equally busy?) customer and what kind of gas station "emergency contact" rolls over to voice mail? It's a convenient gas station geographically but I can't waste time trying to give them my money any longer. Safeway gas is just across the street and it is cheaper anyway. read more

This particular gas station is very old and outdated. I had a hard time finding a credit card reader that would take my payment at the pump. Once I did, the gas came out of the nozzle very slowly and the piece of plastic that holds the handle down was broken. As I stood there for 5 minutes pumping my gas, there were some strange characters hanging around the Arco and some police officers responding to a dispute across the street. Not my favorite experience- if you're in Arlington, I'd go to the Shell down the road instead! read more

Okay I'm finally done with this place. The pay at the pump terminals have had problems for months with promises that they are going to be fixed. Today they are all broken, requiring everyone to go inside to pay which takes forever! I recommend Safeway gas across the street. read more

So the card readers are down approx. 9 oclock tonight i had to use my card so i went in put 50 on the card took 45 and change. Went back to get cash and the doors are locked with a sign shift change fifteen minutes. With people outside the door two trays full of money being counted . which hey any if you criminals want to rob a store shift change at 9:00 would be easy pickins shift worth of money right on the counter all laid out. Most businesses have a back room with a door they can lock and continue doing business not stop making money and lay it all out on the counter for an easy crash and grab. Waited fifteen minutes and gave up they owe me five dollars. If this is arco protocol its amazing more stores like this aren't criminalized.
