Here is an insider tip for all of you moving to the Clearview/Cathcart area of Snohomish...GO HERE!…read moreI will begin by saying their customer service is AMAZING! We love this place! It is a perfect mingling of "Americana" and "Pretty Dang Cool"! Here are a few reasons why I say this: Nick, the owner, and his beautiful wife, always welcome everyone into their store with a genuine smile! They also work their "bottoms' off without ever whining about it! Having owned and operated a C-Store myself, I do know of what I am saying! While the store is delightfully, authentically old, it is filled with so many groovy items! Their prices are FAIR! They don't get the price discounts of Safeway or what-have-you, but they do their best to keep the prices reasonable! Their wine selection is ever-changing and GOOD! Their selection of groovy beers is apparently pretty terrific! I am allergic to hops but you cannot help but overhear. Speaking of, if you are like me and bought your beloved a kegerator over the pandemic, this is THE PLACE to get a refill! Nick is fair and fast! He is accurate and honest! Love that!!! I have to mention... they carry these frozen fruit pies...OH MY GOSH! No, really! I am kind of a pie/cake snob...it's not pretty but it is the truth...THESE ARE SO GOOD!!! And "oh, hello, super groovy ice cream to go with it!" Thank you!!! Yes, they also carry all the "stuff" you might need in a jiffy, from TP to (really good) dairy products. Welcome to the neighborhood! I promise you will love this place!

They stock a little bit of most everything that you'd want and need, a few unique things as well, and have the coldest beer in Cathcart! Parking and navigating the insane intersection that the store is located at is hell during rush hour, but that's not the fault of the store.

I am glad the 'ol Rainbow Market is here in Echo Lake, so I am a fan…read more I dont shop here alot, but its nice to have when you need it, rather than making the long, long, long trek into town. Cigarettes, drinks, ice cream, snacks and some common grocery items, even bait for fishing at nearby lakes. The owners have always been super friendly and pleasant to me. Never a line for powerball/megamillions, let the rabble stand in line at other places! I got a big kick when i bought my $1.6B MegaMillions ticket, he said "one point six PILLION!!! gonna be sick!" Of COURSE its expensive, its a convenience store!! The owners gotta make a living too, with all these hoidy-toidy $1M homes driving up real estate taxes. Free Community bulletin board out front. Always sad to see the Coyote Victim Pictures, hopeful owners grasping at straws. I've had my share.

$5.99 for a 64oz Cambell's tomato juice!? Really!??…read more The beer prices there seem to be standard, but that tomato juice price... that was ridiculous. I got a six-pack for $6.99 and had a moment of serious confusion when I looked at my super high total. (Then I saw the sticker price on the juice.) I never thought the same tomato juice that I buy all the time for less than $4 (it's $3.89 on Amazon Fresh!) could cost that much somewhere! It's a convenient market because there's not much else around there and apparently it's a decent spot to grab some beers, but... dang... that juice price is killin' me. fyi: There's a $5 minimum for paying with a card. I love tomato juice, so I'm glad that I was only in the area because of Bob's Corn Maze and that this ISN'T my neighborhood mini-mart.

I've found the Pharmacy staff here to be very helpful and relatively quick as well. I order my meds…read moreon the Rite Aid website and go in to pick them up once I've received a message that they're ready and waiting for me. I think that if you did have to wait around for a prescription to be filled that it would take a while. But then every pharmacy that I've ever been to takes quite a while to fill prescriptions if you're waiting for them. I suspect most of them have minimal staff and they're filling a lot of orders. My tip would be to avoid waiting in the store by ordering on the Rite Aid website in advance. The rest of the store is not the largest Rite Aid, but with the exception of the Papyrus cards (that often have depleted stock levels), the store is clean and stocked well enough. You can even get Blue Rhino propane tanks for your grill here.

If at all possible, I try to avoid this Rite Aid and its pharmacy…read more Every single time I go, most of the shelves are empty with a few random products here and there. I have no idea how they stay in business without items to sell. Look at the photos of typical aisles. You would never waste your time going there knowing aisles are mostly empty and you would be lucky to get what you want (and then might as well play Lotto with that kind of luck) But for some reason the refrigerated drink section and hard alcohol are always fully stocked. And there are NOT any signs saying they are remodeling or "be patient with us while we." It is hard to find an employee if you need help, so I always have to go to the cashier since no one is around. The cashiers are always super friendly. Maybe they are just happy to have something to do and get to interact with another human since I cannot imagine they get much business with a store that REGULARLY looks like it was cleared out as part of some disaster related hoarding. -----PHARMACY---- Called to see if they were open since we just had storms and they had been closed as a result, and they were very rude. I asked if the prescription was called in (yes) and if it could be ready that day. In a very annoyed and irritated voice, she responded "we are 2 days behind on all prescriptions. If people would stop calling to see if we are open, then maybe we could actually get them done." Wow. I explained it was for my sister who was in the ER the day before and we needed the meds to make sure she did not end back up in the ER and if she could just make sure they has the meds in stock. She was still short with me but looked it up and they had it. Later, when my sister got a text that it was ready, I went in to pick it up. There was more attitude and the employees not wanting to go out of their way (although my asks were in the scope of their jobs) to actually help me solve the situation. I will save you those details By the time I got my prescription, I was so beat-down by the experience that I forgot to ask for a pharmacist to help me understand the meds and, big surprise, they did not offer. Which means I had to call once home, taking more of my valuable time to ask questions that they could not fully answer and were not helping me problem solve what the solutions could be. Soooooo, if you want to an experience of how NOT to run a business as a lesson, go to this store. Otherwise, find another drug store that 1) actually has products in stock and 2) hopefully nice employees who are competent and willing to actually help figure things out when they are not black and white. I doubt a manager will even respond to this post. Besides, what are they going to say other than "sorry you had a bad experience like most other customers. There is no way that any time soon, we can correct all of these critical business issues. Sorry. It sucks for us too. (Well maybe not pharmacy employees since they think they can be rude to whoever they want and do the bare minimum of their jobs)."
