Gasoline all over the floor from a faulty pump.
    Sammo S.

Go literally ANYWHERE else. I was at pump 10 (3/20/21 @ 10:15AM) and it OVERFLOWED. Didn't stop once the tank was full and poured gas all over the floor and my shoes. I told the attendant (male, short, curly grey hair) and he couldn't care less. I told him it's a safety hazard and he couldn't care less. I didn't ask for a refund or complain that my Jordans are now covered in gasoline, but for someone to have absolutely zero sympathy and take zero responsibility for this is infuriating. He walked away in the middle of me speaking to him to help someone else. Rude. Careless. Irresponsible.

it is the law to give free air if u need some for ur tire.. that asshole clerk was rude , 17 years I ve been pumping my gas here..
    Christophe L.

it s illegal to charge for air for your tire in California if you ask for it, the clerk denied it to me I had no quarters and a low on air tire., and he was rude as hell.. he should get fired...17 years I ve been getting my gas there..

Alex, went out of his way to help me when I got a flat tire thank you so much! Good prices on gas and nice selection of goodies inside.

Wonderful gas station. After filling up here my car feels like flying, really. I believe this is one of not many stations where your gas is actually gas the way it should be. It does have Diesel for those who drive economy cars, and there's like 15' clearance of the main tent for those who drive tall trucks. To pay for gas, you can address a cashier, or you can use an automated ATM, which takes any cards (I believe). There's also a air pump with a gauge, so that you knew the pressure in your tires. Money collected go to charity. The only bad thing about that gauge is the way it smells - being situated in a dark corner of the station its surroundings often used as a restroom (Yuk!). The snack shop is assorted: danishes, chips, beef jerky, sodas, coffee, cold sandwiches, chocolates, gum and my favorite Bubu Lubu (jelly candy) which is found only here :) Friendly cashiers are always ready to help you and answer all your questions (except for those like "Why's the grass green?"). The station is always busy, but no problem - people come and leave, so no lines. You come, you fill up, you fly away happy.

Arco Station on Western & Melrose
    Jennica S.

Arco is my First choice Gas station. Cheap prices around the Melrose Hill/East Hollywood area. The prices are the same for both cash and debit card. However there's a 35 cent charge if you use debit! There are two Pay Islands that make it simple to pay so you don't have to go inside. Only time I go in is for a Rockstar or to get change. I see some saying it's not the safest place, but I've never had any issues with people harassing me. Guess it just depends. During the middle of the day during weekdays is the Best time to get gas cuz its less crowded. Arco is located on the corner of a super busy intersection of Western and Melrose, which sucks cuz its difficult to exit safely and rejoin the streets cuz of stupid drivers and Metro buses blocking the exit. So BE CAREFUL!!

Great wonderful customer service always but the thing is that the gas station is always packed up in the parking lot.

Only takes debit card. Cashier was short/blunt and rude cashier. Two pumps didn't work even with a debit card.

That's including the…read morecustomers that they & their store are DEPENDENT on for the revenue that ultimately pays their individual INCOME. I'm sure they have been through a lot at this location, which I definitely take into consideration, but I don't think that means that low quality customer treatment is now acceptable (across multiple visits). I waited for them to come take a cheap item I needed out of the locked cages (that every item is in now), and when they did, instead of handing me the 5 dollar item, they insisted that they would take it up to the front where it would be waiting for me. After waiting in a long line, my item was not at the front.. So I just checked out without it. As I was leaving, an employee came up to me with the item I needed and acted like I was being an inconvenience. I went back and purchased the item only to find out that I missed out on a discount that I would have gotten if I'd have purchased it with my other items. I couldn't care less about the discount - ha, but it's just the principle of the situation and how the employees I dealt with could obviously care less. And this has been a re-occurring vibe at this store. Not to mention that the store's inventory has not been very great either.. ALTHOUGH, it is true that you never-ever know what people might be dealing with in their lives... --which is why I gave a 2 star rating instead of 1 star.

Hello Yelp! I've…read morebeen coming to this market/deli for a bit as I live just a few blocks away. I almost always come for a sandwich fix. The deli is pretty basic with 4 types of sandwiches, pastrami, ham, turkey, smoked turkey, and ham and turkey. They all come with pepperjack cheese, or cheddar and include mustard, tomato, and lettuce. They use boars head meat which is top quality meat and juicy and tastes well of the protein. The sandwiches are made fresh everyday but not to order so you cannot customize. For $7 even for a footlong stuffed full of meat using fresh lettuce, a gorgeous dijon mustard seed mustard, juicy and crisp tomato, fresh bread and high quality deli meat, this is an excellent and delicious buy. The sandwiches are huge with meat overflowing and everything is so fresh. I love the restraint and simplicity in this sandwich as the fresh high quality and classic flavors speak for themselves. The price point at $7 is perfect too. This sandwich ia levels above subway or jersey mikes. The deli meat is thick sliced and high end but my favorite part of the sandwich is the crunch of the lettuce with the crisp of a juicy tomato slice, and true mustard flavor and aroma. When one can smell the pure aroma of an ingredient and it is perfumic then it is fresh, natural, and naturally delicious. For $7, you get a rocking footlong stuffed with meat, freshest and hi-end ingredients and no wait. They also have groceries, other deli items, and a selection of nuts This is my go to for a sandwich! Hope you try it out! Brandon

I stopped by around 11pm on a Monday night and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. They had everything you'd expect, and the location is really convenient. It was right across the street from the DoubleTree by Hilton that I was staying at. So if you're staying in the area or just passing through on foot (it's on a busy corner), it's easy to swing by. It's your typical 7-Eleven experience, nothing mind-blowing but nothing terrible either. It's a good spot for grabbing snacks or drinks if you need something quick, but it didn't offer anything that made it stand out from the hundreds of other 7-Elevens out there. Parking can be a little tight in the area since it's Little Tokyo, but nothing too wild if you don't mind walking a block or so. It was pretty dead when I was out and about walking. There was a few people experiencing homelessness and there was a fight that broke out in the area but again, I didn't feel unsafe. I would suggest getting on a bike or a scooter to be able to ride faster if you are feeling unsure. Overall, a perfectly fine place to stop by if you're in the neighborhood or need something late at night, but don't expect anything beyond your typical 7-Eleven experience.
