I come to this location regularly and the experience is consistently frustrating. The employee inside frequently closes the store for several minutes at a time, putting up a "closed" sign, even during normal business hours. This has happened multiple times when I've come in specifically to pay cash for gas, and I'm forced to wait or leave. I understand people need breaks, but this seems to happen way too often and without any consistency. It defeats the purpose of stopping here if customers can't rely on the store being open when it should be. I went today 7/10/2026. I was the only customer. Wanted to Starbucks coffee drink that they advertised as 2/$6. She rung up the drinks and said $10. There are no trash cans outside. When I went in to pay for gas, the cashier yelled at me for throwing away trash in the inside trash can. She was so angry she would not activate the gas pump after I had already paid. Now I have to report the transaction as fraud. She refused to give me a canceled transaction receipt. read more

Who writes a review for a gas station? I guess I do. I don't know if this place is under new owners or not. I went here for YEARS. No problems. But in the last few years, almost half the time I go there, the pumps DO NOT WORK. They don't take your cards. The "chips always fail." So, you try another card. Same thing. So you try another pump. Same thing. You go inside and tell the people who work there and they don't care. I have a feeling this place knows there's some card skimming going on, otherwise why wouldn't they fix their pumps? It is easily THE WORST GAS STATION I'VE EVER GONE TO IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. And stupid me, every time I went back I'd think, well, that must've been a one-off, just a bad day for them. But no, both my wife and I on several separate occasions had the same issue. Sure enough we go to another gas station that's not as convenient and our cards work just fine. So, yes, I was stupid to keep going time after time when the pumps don't work. It was convenient to where I work. Now I've finally learned my lesson. Avoid this place. They don't really care if the pumps work or not and are probably in on a card-skimming scam. I'll be on the lookout to make sure my card doesn't have any sketchy charges. read more

The gasoline pump was constantly cutting out while I was fueling; even when attempting to lock the lever in place for hands free pumping. So I went to the cashier (only one on duty apparently), and told him. He said to go try another pump although I had already started on the one I was using. When I asked for assistance, he flat out refused. This was the station on the SE corner of Lincoln Blvd and Venice Blvd in Los Angeles (Venice). The service here is fine. I like that there is a drive thru car wash though the car line can get crazy long. They have windshield wipers at the gas pumps that are relatively clean. The only thing off about this place are the encounters ive had here. Not COVID safe. Not Black girl safe. My daughter just turned 17 and got her first car. Her dad got her a Mobil card which keeps us from ever having to worry that she is running around on E with no way to fill up. She's very responsible and fills up her tank when it gets to the 1/4 mark. Two times when she has gone there she has been forced to go inside when using her credit card. Since this only happens here, it's the station. I joined her last time, and we had to try three different pumps. She entered her card, and it said to go inside, the second one appeared to accept her card -- and then thanked her for her business after pumping zero gas into her tank. Went inside and the clerk said to try another pump. So we went to one that had just been occupied by a non-Black woman who successfully pumped her gas and went on her way. Once again, my daughter entered her card and was told to go inside. I'm done at this point. I had my child show him her ID, her credit card and said, "This is her card. It belongs to her." This gas station has one of the least expensive gas throughout the year in the area. There are two prices... one with a car wash (which is usually 10 cents cheaper per gallon) and one without a car wash. Because it is one of the cheapest gas in the area, be prepared to wait and fight cars to get to a station during high peak hours. read more

I come to this gas station most times to fill up on gas. Although it's busy most of the time unless it's late night or really early in the morning, it's big enough to where you have room to maneuver around. A plus about this location is it has a drive through car wash. It's great if you don't feel like going to a regular full car wash. Do keep in mind that I did mention it does get busy here. There is also a mini mart, single vacuum and air station. Note: You get $.10 off per gallon of gas when you pay for your car wash and gas at the same time. Make sure you check your car wash code before getting your car washed here. Mine was upgraded, I was charged for a premium wash when this is not what I selected. I had to go inside to get my receipt and code because the pump was not dispensing receipts and codes. I did not realize the mistake until I looked at my receipt to enter the car wash code. At that point there were several cars behind me. I went ahead with the wash and then went into the cashier who refused to refund the extra charge. Whenever I go to this place, it reminds me that days when you can ask the staff about directions, use of their restroom, etc. are LONG gone! I've been a customer of this place for about 15 years and they refused to give me a two-day extension beyond the 7-day expiration date to use my prepaid car wash. When I was there on the 8th day, the wash broken. It's still broken on the 9th day. There was a female African American cashier who did say "Hello" and "Thank you" like she meant it. I agree with the negative reviews about their car wash. I've always had to spot wash my car after it's has gone through their wash. If one is ok with just getting some (not all) dirt off the large panels of their car, this place is fine. For clean windows, bumpers, wheels/tires, and roof, this is not the place! Never ever pay for their wash except for the basic wash because one can't feel or see the difference for the higher fees. When paying for the basic wash at the pump, one must scroll down in order to select the basic wash. If not, one will be selecting a higher fee wash...Tricky these people, they are! Enter and exit on the side of Norton Ave at an angle AND very slowly unless you want to lose your front air dam/bumper or muffler. Or, both! I've seen people lose their front air dam and muffler. Of course, I mentioned this to the attendant. And his response was classic!..."That is not a problem of mine in my country." For sure that is the way in his country! What a shame. Folks. FOLKS! Well, today I went to get a car wash and to make a long story short, the car wash machine wasn't working properly, and ended up with a completely wet car and when I demanded a refund, he said no. I don't think it's right to pay for services that I didn't get. I wasn't asking for a refund, but then at least you should have honored me a free car wash in the future. The car wash here is a TOTAL RIP OFF. After I went inside to buy the car wash and get a code, I go to punch it in and the machine is clearly broken. And there are a lot of pumps, two rows on either side of the cashier building so almost never a wait. lots of entrances/exits with 3 driveways on olypic and one on each side street - yes, this gas station takes up a full block. This gas station is scandalous! If you use a debit or credit card, they overcharge you for a $91 fee that requires you to go to your bank to have dismissed. They charged me with 2 $91 charges last week. When I returned to address it with the manager, he acknowledged the pumps do this. A guy in line said he just goes to his bank regularly to have the charge removed. I filed a fraudulent charge police report. This is a Mobil station stealing from its consumers! read more

The location is obviously convenient, easy driveway access, multiple pumps do waiting for me has been no more than a few minutes tops. Seemed to be the cheapest gas in town..(Korea town that is!) and my gas was quite low.. 4.09 for premium. I filled up for 37.50 (topped off! yay!) It should be 5 stars then right? No. We had a bit of a problem since my car was REALLY dirty and well it was time to get it washed (even though it was just water being sprinkled on it). So I walk in to get the ticket for the carwash and well, I chose the 6 dollar and got a chocolate bar for the wash. (Yes me a fatty rooar~) He said my total was 11.59 so I gave him 12. I used to frequent this place for the convenience of the drive-thru car wash. The machine had been on its last leg for awhile but it worked. They finally got a new car wash but increased the price from $10 to $14. Big price hike. Problem is, the car is still the same level of clean after the wash. NOT WORTH THE PRICE INCREASE. I went inside to ask whether or not there was a discount on gas for using the car wash, and the cashier told me that there was no discount on gas for using the car wash. He told me that there was no discount on gas for using the car wash (repeated for confirmation) with a straight face. So I took it with a straight face. I bought the car wash and went outside to fill up my gas. However, as my eyes slowly went from gas nozzle to immediate surroundings, I noticed the streetside price board displayed that car washes come with a 10c per gallon discount on gas. My heart sank, and so did my potential savings. I've been lied to. I ended up having to pay full price for the gas even though I had also purchased the car wash.
