If we are walking, once we are within a block, she'll start pulling at her leash. In the car? She'll press up against the window, hoping we stop. The folks there love dogs, and there is always a cookie available. Haven't tried one myself, but our little 110 pound princess seems to appreciate them an awful lot! Good group of folks, well run place that does actually stand out as a gas station. Doesn't hurt that the prices are generally on the lower end of the range. Note that it is not the most convenient to get in and out of - it is on the corner, across from the Max, and can be a bit cumbersome to navigate. But we'll go out of our way to go here for all the reasons mentioned above.

Rented a car during our Portland trip, so sought out the closest Costco to the airport. This…read morelocation was it, with 4 islands, each having 3 pumps, for a total of 24 concurrent nozzles/spots. We came around 11 am, and it wasn't too crowded with most queues having at most 3 cars waiting. All the pumps have the extra long hoses, so cars go to either side, regardless of where their fuel cap is located. I did notice that for most queues, cars would wait until all three slots were open before proceeding (eliminating the need to go around cars, or worse, backing in to parallel park on a middle spot). Once it was our turn, we got the middle spot. Using the citi costco card meant one tap is all it took to validate membership and provide payment method. And we only had to pump 5 gallons so was done quickly. We did leave first, going around the first car, but didn't bother looking to see if the next car in line would try to parallel park into our just vacated spot. Also didn't notice if there was a full-service lane (remembering that until 2023, this was the only way to pump gas in Oregon).

A job stimulus package a few years back made it so that gas station attendants had to pump the gas for you. A friendly lady came out from the convenience store and helped me out. We chatted a bit while I waited. I didn't have time to go inside the convenience store, nor stop at the restroom. But from what I gather, it was a clean and efficiently run place. A prior entry indicated that this place was closed, which is not accurate, as it was very open. There were plenty of other motorists stopping by here, either because of the Portland airport that sat nearby, or just people getting their Sunday started early. It was a quick and convenient stop, it did its job well.
