So i just need air pressure for my tire that was running low. I asked the attendant if the air pressure machine worked prior to using. He assured me it did. Like most places, they don't offer basic services for free. So i gave him a dollar in exchange for quarters. Unfortunately, the nozzle is broken and the center piece that open the valve in the tire's valve stem is missing. I took a photo so i could show the attendant and he simply said we could do nothing about it. DO NOT GO HERE! If I could give zero star, I would. The skinny man is extremely rude. We needed gas and the restroom so we got off the freeway and stopped here as we have done in the past. The man didn't want to give my friend the token to the restroom and said it is for paying customer which my friend said we will pump gas after we used the restroom. He insisted we buy something and we offered to buy something in the store first. He reluctantly gave my friend a token. Since there is only one restroom, I was going to use it after my friend while my friend pumps gas. The rude skinny man cut in front of me to go lock the restroom as I told him I need to use it and he said only for paying customer. I pointed out that my friend just drove around the corner to pump gas and yet he still locked the door and said, "you can use it after you paid". Good thing I was able to get to my friend before my friend got out of the car to pump gas and glad we didn't buy anything there. We will never come back to this gas station. New month. First time writing a review from my iPhone. Woohoo! This isn't the best gas station in the world but it's cheap and close to a lot of eateries, the 405 freeway, and the movie theatre I frequent for free movie nights. It's quick and easy to get into. The pumps are clean but it's a hassle to get out especially during rush hour traffic so be mindful of that. Other than that, who doesn't like cheap gas nowadays? I do. read more

Only because Yelp makes you give at least one star, but this business does not deserve any. The owner is rude, very short, he has ZERO PEOPLE SKILLS and knows nothing about customer service. I just moved down the street, and within one week i witnessed the owner/manager who is also a Manlet screaming at customers twice. Ive only got gas at this location once and had a problem with the cash machine, i go inside to advise and this man yells at me to cancel the transaction then snatches the cash out of my hand! I cancel it then i go back inside to confirm he manually put in for the pump i was at when he yelled at me again "to hurry and pump my gas and leave" Don't give this jerk your hard earned money, go a couple of blocks in either directions and you'll get better service. I just moved to the neighborhood. I went to get cash and the only pump open was on the opposite side of the gas tank. I put in my card, took out the pump and started pumping my gas. The owner or whoever came running out screaming at me at me. What are you doing!! You are going to start a fire!! I didn't even know what to say. I said I'm just pumping gas. He yelled at me that I had to pump gas from the same side as the gas pumper j would start a fire. I was dumbfounded. As was getting in my car, a man pulled by me to ask me if I was okay. I told him what happened. He told me that is just how this owner is. If you have a debit card and pump only from the same side as the gas tank you will probably be okay. This station has good prices and is convenient to me, but has horrible customer services. I have had several bad experiences with this station - they refused to allow my son, who has walked to the station, to fill an approved gallon container of gas so that we could get my out-of-gas car moving again. The new owner is super nice i have lived in sutton place for 10 years till i moved this arco is one of the best, great customer service,fast, simple SNACK SHOP, people somtimes forget its not AMPM. I'm giving this place a two because paying at the pump is a hassle. First off the pumps don't accept credit cards but they do accept atm only and 35 cents charge will be added to your total. I don't know what's the deal about not accepting credit cards, this is probably the only gas station I can think of that doesn't take credit. The thing about paying at the pump is that the pad aren't responsive. I pressed canceled multiple times just to make sure I don't get over charged. I didn't have to deal with the cashier or the owners but from other reviews it seemed like I didn't miss much. Only thing I can say about this place is it's close to the 22. read more

Car needed gas and was overheating a bit so I stop at the Arco on GoldenWest and Knott in Westminster. I have frequented this place a few times as a customer after today NEVER AGAIN! I start filling up the car and pop the hood to check the various fluids oil, water etc, as I open the water to let off some pressure I turn it too far and it explodes all over, so aside from feeling like a dumb ass I now need to replace the water I have lost. So I go inside and ask the lady to turn on the water machine she frowns at me but does it since the LAW In California doesn't allow you to charge for water if a person pays for gas. As I am returning to the car to put the water in a man I assume to be the manager comes out of the station and starts screaming at me about how this is a gas station not a garage and I need to move my car NOW. I calmly explained that I would move I just needed to put this water in and WAIT FOR THE GAS I WAS BUYING FROM HIM TO FINISH PUMPING! He continues to berate and scream at me non-stop while I finish putting the water in and the gas finishes pumping. By this time my 7 year old son who is in the back seat is crying and screaming at the guy to stop yelling at his daddy. The guy was also waving a broom at me. So I come around the car and I calmly again state sir you need to calm down and stop screaming at me. I am going to move the car right now but if you don't stop screaming at me and threatening me we are about to have an issue. At this point he starts screaming profanities at me telling me to get out of his station. So I get in the car so I can move it and can't get it to start, so he keeps screaming at me. I get out again and ask him to back off that I am trying to leave. I sit down again to put the car into neutral so I can push it and he continues to scream, so now I have my son in the backseat completely distraught crying and screaming and this fucking jackhole waving a broom at me and screaming, needless to say I leaned out of the car and at this point no longer calm told this man that if he did not back off and stop screaming at me, threatening me with a broom, and upsetting my son that I was going to defend myself with extreme prejudice. He seem to finally get the point that I was about to put a very painful end to his stupidity and finally backed off. i llove all the bad reviews about what an ass the owner is. next time i go there i will see if i can find him and push his buttons hahahahha i have been her twice now for service. i had my transmission serviced which was a good advertised deal. and then i had a tune up and my valve cover gaskets changed. the price was right and the mechanics really went the extra mile on my particular job. i was actually so happy with the service i made a point of finding some more work for them that i didn't actually need to get done but they made a really good impression on me so im gonna get it done. cant wait to meet the owner hahahhahah read more
