Hannah and Taylor are the leasing agents that always help out if I need anything. The maintenance men Josh & Rob have both helped me out as well. Rob took down 2 wasps nests on my porch and Josh solved a minor plumbing issue as soon as I moved in. Hannah and Taylor are always smiling in the main building and are very knowledgable about the property. Amenities are a huge plus here. The pool is super nice and the gym has up to date equipment! They also have fun events for the residents. I'm looking forward to the outdoor movie night this weekend!

Unfortunately, in my experience, those changes have not been for the better. The current management team appears increasingly disconnected from the realities of being a resident. Communication, consistency, professionalism, and accountability have all become significant concerns. I also had experiences with business practices that I found questionable and unnecessarily difficult. Most concerning has been the lack of strong, professional leadership on-site. In my personal experience, the General Manager's conduct was unprofessional and did not reflect the level of judgment, leadership, or customer service I would expect from someone responsible for managing a residential community. After more than three years as a resident, I left with a very different impression of the property than the one I had when I moved in. If you are considering making this your home, I would strongly encourage you to look carefully at your other options before signing a lease here.

You can hear all your neighbors and we got a noise complaint because our 15 month old makes "excessive noise" during the day. There is very little green areas and the few areas that are, have dog poop all over them and smell like pee constantly even though there's a dog park. We were excited about the "nature trail" when we moved in but apparently, that's not an actual thing, just a marketing gimmick to get people in....unless you want to walk 20 minutes to the greenway. A few weeks ago I had my daughter playing in the mulch by the pool (due to all the dog poop in the grass) and she pushed a metal fence that wasn't attached at the bottom and almost fell down an extremely deep embankment but luckily I caught her. I honestly could keep going but feel like this is enough. I would not recommend living here. EDIT to response from office: we have went into the office, we've called and we have emailed. We either don't get a response back or staff has tried to shift the blame. We were told the excessive noise complaint during the DAY and NIGHT were for our neighbors but they aren't even home during the day; they just made a lot of noise at night. I think they (office staff) just realized how ridiculous a complaint about a toddler who was simply playing and going about her day at home was.

From the moment I called an asked about getting an apartment in about 2 weeks. We walked into our DREAM apartment. If you are looking for a brand new apartment they truly have many different floor plans. I would and have recommended this place to all my friends if they are looking for an apartment. Just beautiful counter tops, and amazing isle to cook on in the kitchen, built in Wine bottle shelves. They are still doing a lot of construction and there is not a lot of landscaping as of yet but you can see it coming along and they are working hard on making this a resort style rental community. The office staff have been friendly and always looking to help, The is Wake Forest's newest JEWEL. We are located right across from the REAL McCoy's, Schuckers, and 5 mins or less from Publix and Harris Teeter. So great to be near everything.

My move was put on hold because of breast cancer. I recently noticed a new negative collection on my credit report from The Lindley at Grove 98 to which I never received a phone call, email or bill in the mail charging me $219. I then attempted to contact Amanda Property Manager of The Lindley, her staff was very rude and said there was nothing that could be done, the one girl even kept hanging up on me. I left Amanda several messages, after many attempts I wrote a Google review, it was only then Amanda reached out to me, still pushing me onto her accounting team saying there is nothing she can do. The staff at The Lindley at Grove 98 were very unprofessional, rude and less than compassionate!

But i hate not being close enough to civilization to go when i want. say hello to Hampton Village Apartments, they are a happy medium. Located in Youngsville, NC right outside of wake forest, I am located only 10 mins from civilization, but far enough out that i'm not stuck in crazy traffic and crowds of people. Hampton Village is a nice community. They have installed cameras everywhere so you feel safe (but they also monitor for rule breakers....don't even think about pooping and not cleaning it up...o i mean, letting your critter poop, :D) Apartments are a bit on the small side (695 for the 1 bedroom and 750ish for the 2) but for the cost and location, it's not a bad compromise. The community is clean and whenever i turn in a work request, they are on top it. My average monthly electric bill has been between 35-65, which is excellent. I am a little hostile over the water bill, which is $65 every month(up to the first 2000 gallons used). But that is the county of Franklinton, not the apartment complex's rule. The other down side are the walls are a little thin....sometimes, you don't want to know what you're neighbor is doing....at 1 a.m.........:/ Other than that I would say it's a great place. I have lived here for about 1.5 years, and plan on renewing my lease.

We were told our unit was smoke-free, but it quickly became obvious that the previous tenant had been smoking inside for years. The lingering smoke residue has been significant and has even triggered asthma flare-ups. This was never disclosed to us before move-in, but later confirmed by maintenance that the previous tenant smoked for years inside and that we should have smelt it prior to all the paint and new carpets. We also experienced repeated issues with a neighboring tenant from a different building who behaved aggressively, including banging on our door, verbally threatening, watching when we would leave to confront us, and creating many hostile situations. These incidents were documented and reported to the leasing office multiple times, but there was little meaningful action taken to address the situation. Their solution was for us to park further away from our apartment. As a female who's husband is gone for work, did not feel safe being alone at the apartment due to these situations, which ultimately caused us to leave before our lease was done and pay two rents due to the apartment not letting us out of our lease early. They did not deem it necessary since this person was "not violent". When someone is paying rent, they deserve to feel peace and safety at the place they are living. Overall, the most disappointing part has been the lack of response and accountability from management. Tenants deserve transparency about the condition of their unit and a safe living environment, and unfortunately that has not been our experience here.

Sometimes the noise will start at night and go until 1 am. We have had the courtesy patrol come by once, by the time they respond the neighbors have stopped. We have called the courtesy line since this and they will not return our calls or address this issue. The office response was contact the non-emergence number for the WAKE FOREST POLICE. The office did offer us another apartment with a larger monthly fee and we would have to sign a new 13 month lease, We feel the the office does not want to address this issue with the neighbors. One of the neighbors did pick up after their pet, just to leave the bag of dodo under the bushes. Do not rent here.
