Plenty of parking and quite a bit of deck/promenade space over the lake for nicer temperatures. This is the same lake used for paddle boats in summer and ice skating in the winter. I could easily see a wedding reception being held here, etc. I've been here twice now for Christmas parties with no concerns. I'd definitely recommend them to others and keep them in mind for functions if my own.

It had optional black lights throughout the room which the kiddos loved! There were plenty of slides, climbing structures, giant foam building pieces, gymnastic mats, and a rock climbing wall! It was clean, it was bright, it was spacious! Adjoining the playroom was a large party room with tables, chairs, washroom, sink, counter area. My only complaint is that my kiddos could see & smell the pool which led to incessant requests to go swimming... So we will likely go swimming today! I think the mom said it was $170 for 2 hours. Balloons & piñatas are not allowed due to the air intake system. Overall, I'd give it a 9 out of 10! 2 hours is a pretty tight window to set up, play, eat, open presents, and clean up. The next group was waiting for us to leave at the 2 hour mark.

Pretty sizable, its weird how half the pools in this city are tiny and the others are gigantic. I mistook the hot tub for a pool at first. Bad vision without my specs. Hot tub wasn't too hot but it might've been the day. Theres 3 pools I think. Kids, lanes and a diving area. This place has a slide and a lot more. In the swimming lanes, someone had an under water radio, which was weird but cool! Couldn't hear it above water, only below. I didn't see a sauna but there is a steam room. Every 40 seconds it was blasting heat into the room pshhh! Pshhh! I found it a bit tricky to find the shower by the steam but its probably just my bad eyes again.

The pool is constructed to be used for people who have mobility needs among other kinds of disabilities and while the facility is old (you can see the time period wherein it was constructed reflected in the way that the building is set up), it is well maintained and certainly recently renovated. I was quite happy with the pool itself which was reasonably warm, large and inviting. The hot tub isn't as warm as other pools though so that was a bit less than ideal. I liked the set up of the space and the room that we booked for the party was huge and very convenient afterward. It is a bit out of the way (probably requires driving from many areas of town) but there's lots of parking and it is in a beautiful park area.

I mainly went for the pool today. The change room had those lockers that you punch in a 4 digit code and it saves it and locks it for you. Just remember the code and your locker number. They have the typical 25 meter pool and a kid pool with water jets and beach entry. I seen something called a 'lazy river' which looked like a sort of maze you could meander through, which was kind of interesting. I think these are all salt water. I believe I seen another pool as well that looked shallow, but deeper then the kid pool. Theres a hot tub thats actually pretty large. I seen a steam room but it was closed. Additionally I seen a water slide, as well as 3 tiers of diving boards. Its not too shabby for catching a swim but it would be nice if they had a sauna.

Other locations have started having reusable wristbands which are much better and easier. For the noise and crowd: I plan my workout time around rush hours and I completely avoid the place when there is a tournament. The customer service is awesome and the staff is always nice and helpful! I haven't had any bad experiences related to customer service! If you plan it right, you can enjoy your workouts here! Pool I've been meaning to check out in sherwood park…read more Wave pool, different from Millwoods pool. Reminds me of West Edmonton Mall. Alarm goes off and the waves start coming. Not as big as WEM but still super cool. Can be very crampt on weekends looks like. Lots of families there. They have a hot tub, sauna, steam room and a lazy river. They basically have it all. Lanes were closed for dropins. Its a big sports center, if I was in the park more often I woulf check it out. Definitely a gem to check out.
