Have been here numerous times. Love it every time. Since they have remodeled I think it's even better. The smoky grilled cheese is awesome. Cheese with BBQ pork! How could life get any better? Had a chef salad for lunch today and it was great. Huge and loaded with all kinds of stuff. Balsamic vinaigrette was some of the best I've ever had. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. After going to lunch at Ard's Kitchen. I couldn't stop thinking about what a fun place to spend an afternoon it was. The atmosphere is spectacular, the food/BBQ is great and the people are always friendly. One high point of my visit was the amazing corn bread that was served when I sat at my table. The corn bread alone is worth the trip, but Ard's has so much more to offer. Definitely make the trip there on the weekend, because the pulled pork is also some of the most tender and flavorful I've had in a while. read more

We attended their corn maze, which is amazing. After the maze, we ate dinner in their restaurant (We had hoagies, which were very good) and browsed their gift shop. We had fun picking out pumpkins for jackolanterns and looking at the great food for sale in their gift shops. The only thing I wish was different was that some of their gift shop prices are a little high. read more

Since upgrading, Ards is fast becoming one of my favorite restaurants in Lewisburg. The "farm to fork" concept yields fresh food from local sources. You can stop by for a soup with their delicious corn bread, appetizers, burgers, main salads, salad bar or entrees. The presentation is pleasing, the portions substantial and the prices competitive with others in the area. The menu is well-marked for gluten free, vegetarian, etc. read more

We were hungry for a good Brisket sandwich yesterday and heard that this place was great for Brisket. Don't waste your money on this sandwich as there was more bread than Meat. The flavor was OK but there was hardly any meat there. And for $13 it was a huge disappointment. read more

Its been over a year since we visited Ards, As we entered the establishment we had to walk a maze to get to the dining room. We asked the waitress if the menu changed and if their was price increases. She stated "no, the same". We ordered one pulled pork sandwich the pork was burnt and chewy on a tiny bun along with 7 chips. We also ordered a piece of salmon that was slimy and cold. This meal was $30.00, We were very disappointed and I could not see ever eating there again. read more

We have eaten at this lovely farm market diner several times and this place is a gem. They have great home style food with a BBQ pit. The highlight for me is their tiny salad bar which has the freshest ingredients and three hinds of meat, homemade coleslaw, potato salad, and pickled beets. It comes free with all entrees. Most entree at lunch are between $10-14. They have a corn maze in the fall and other activities throughout the year. read more

Took my in-laws here to celebrate their anniversary. The service was friendly and efficient. The homemade potato chips were delicious. The bbq was quite good. Their brisket was unlike anything I have had before. It was different than traditional Texas bbq. Almost reminded me of pork belly. Great smoky taste. The manager came out to chat which was a nice touch. Finally there is this interesting goat contraption out back that had the kids (and me) mesmerized. Great evening. Great country dining. read more

Yowser -- awesome! LOVE Ard's farm. They have a home cooked farmers breakfast in the morning that is amazing; also they have a great little gift shop where you can buy all kinds of homemade breads jams organic coffees and homemade candy. Definitely worth a stop to visit and eat there. read more

Ards has good home cooked food. Overall, the food is very good. The ice tea is really good. It has a hint of mint to it. There is not a lot of seating inside but there are a lot of seats outside. The cornbread is definitely worth it. The market has good quality fruit and vegetables. The spiced peaches are very good. In the fall there are lots of fun activities for kids. The corn maze is very fun. We go every year and always have a really good time. read more

Went for dinner here with friends. Decent food and when you leave they have a nice farm market. All of our food was pretty good. They actually have a cheesesteak on the menu called the heart attack, once you look past the fact it is really unhealthy it is a really good sand which. None of us had any of the burgers but they looked pretty good. read more

This is a quant little country store/restaraunt . Staff is so nice & helpful. Food tastes just like my Grandma's made from scratch. The store/deli has all the homemade goodies anyone could want, frozen and fresh. Reasonable prices too. A BIG thumbs up for this place !!! :) read more

The corn maze and outside activities are fun for kids and families. The restaurant and its employees leave a lot to be desired. Our group asked for soup and drinks multiple times, and we never got them. The only 2 waitress' in the entire dining area seemed to be stretched thin, although the place was packed with other employees. For what they charge for a simple sandwich I would expect at least good service. This isn't based on one poor experience, but multiple visits with similar outcomes. read more

Visiting from NC and had lunch there first time in a long time. They have remodeled their dining room and increased their prices substantially. There were two of us had sandwiches and one soup with water, total bill without gratuity was $30. That's correct $30. With that said the food was average in quality. Can you believe that. What a find. We were visiting from out of town and tried it after reading positive reviews on Yelp. We just loved it. We enjoyed it so much, we made a return visit two days later. The dishes are all delicious and fresh as well as their all you can eat salad bar. The salad bar had the normal fixings but in addition had fresh soup, bread, dessert and dessert. There was so much food, we filled up on the salad bar and took out entree to go. There's also a farm attached to the restaurant which sold fresh pies, meats, dessert etc. A definite must if you are passing thru the Lewisburg area. read more

Great place to eat off the beaten path. Came here for lunch with family. This was one of the few non-franchise places that had a kids menu. We ordered an octo-dog which is an adorable hot dog cut into the shape of an octopus with a little bit of mustard to make a happy face. Also got a fresh fruit cup made with fresh cantaloupe, honeydew melon and oranges not the kind of fruit that is found inside of a can. Husband ordered the pulled pork and cornbread combo which came generously portioned with a side of fries. I had the yummy Cuban with pulled pork which Panera Bread no longer had. I have not had a Cuban panini sandwich in 2 years. This one was well worth the wait. The service was excellent. I did not catch the name of our helpful server but she was lovely and did not roll her eyes when I informed her that my toddler had thrown some of the delicious fruit underneath the table. The restrooms are clean and has a changing table. The attached store has some great offerings for chocolate lovers and health freaks alike - farmers market fruits and veggies at reasonable prices. Had a great lunch of BBQ, grilled chicken with hand cut potato chips and a turkey panini on rosemary bread. Didn't hurt that we already hit the farmer's market onsite to bring home a dense blueberry pie! Super good food that you wouldn't expect from a working farm. read more

Took our 5 year old grandson to the hayride and pumpkin patch this past weekend. $20 for 3 adults and 1 child to ride over 2 acres of ground was expensive but at least we each could pick a pumpkin. The ramp up to the wagon is unsafe as the piece that attaches to the wagon is more narrow than the ramp you walk up. Our grandson accidentally stepped off the side of the ramp at this junction and fell and got caught between the ramp and the wagon. He was not injured but this could have been disastrous. The tractor driver witnessed this and never checked with us to see if he was okay in spite of the fact that he was scared and crying loudly! Obvious no one in management was alerted either as we ate dinner there after the accident and still no one checked to see if everything was okay. The food was less than average and the restaurant area is dirty. And to top off the day's event on top of the money we spent on the ride and the food they had the nerve to charge $1.00 for one slide down the cheap blow-up slide from West Branch Rental. COME ON! We will definitely find another pumpkin patch for our grandchildren next year. We will also not shop at a market that has so little concern for the customer. read more

Went there for breakfast. They had a buffet the day I was there. Worst buffet I ever had. Cream chip beef was auful and I love cream chipped beef sausage was very bland. Ordered a side of scrapple It was an 1/8 of an inch thick and if it would have been cooked any longer it would have tured to ashes' I eat breakfast out once a week but I have to say this was by far the worst I have ever had. Oh yea they charged $4.00 for that 1/8 piece of burnt scrapple. I will say there personel was very friendly and the rest of the store looked nice, but stay away from there breakfast. I rated this only on the breakfast I had there. read more

Our friends from out of town begged to go there for dinner. They live out of state and the last time they came to visit us (three years ago) we went there to eat. We didn't tell them about how bad the food truly is now, just so they could form their own opinion. They immediately noticed that the cornbread was not the same recipe they had experience before. It was dry and crumbly with little to no flavor. They both got burgers and were not impressed with the greasy fries and the seasoning on the burger that made it incredibly salty. My husband had the baked potato with the pork on top (similar to a loaded baked potato). Yuck! The pork was swimming in a BBQ sauce that tasted similar to ketchup with liquid smoke, had a mushy consistency, and was slimy. Our guests were not impressed and they both decided that the quality of food had drastically decreased. They still love the market and the animals, but we won't be dining there again. We didn't have to say a word to our friends about the food, it spoke for itself. read more
