A quintessential farmer's market, they have goat milk if you need it, and lots of other dairy options, plus countless frozen, refrigerated and fresh staples. Even the honey they carry is carefully chosen and centers around products from local apiaries, even the one just over the hill from their property, so cool! I grabbed a nice variety: gorgeous bunch carrots, an intriguing canary melon, farmer recommended mushrooms, ripe and sweet donut peaches, killer local dill pickles and a great price on a few ounces of...goji berries; I swear they're like twice the price at the bigger supermarkets. Canned and jarred options form pyramids of goodies in the form of sauce, pasta, cheese, herbs and spices, beef jerky, nuts, grains, oils, and dog treats, just to name a few sections. I found the prices fair and came away with three packages of pork chops, one each of sweet and hot sausage and bacon for around $26 bucks. I found it to be a good value. I also picked up some raw milk which was delicious in our coffee over the holiday weekend. We marinated and baked the pork chops and I found them to be of good quality. We grilled the sausages and the hot had a very nice kick, the regular sweet Italian sausage had some peppery kick as well. The bacon came in thinner slices and well as thicker wider cuts so if your a fan of bacon size variety you'll like the bacon. All in all I found the experience worthwhile. Hot Italian Sausage $13lb went well with a spaghetti dinner. The heat was just right. Eggs - $9 a dozen. I bought a dozen pullet eggs - notes on the carton "Pullet eggs come from our new flock of laying hens and are only around for the spring months, While smaller, they are more nutrient dense and have brighter yolks." The smell of the wood burning oven baking fresh pizza shells was nice along with the fresh country air. The shop is small, but they had the freezers filled with different cuts of meat (beef, pork, chicken didn't see rabbit) and coolers/shelves filled with locally made pantry items (jams, honey, syrup, olive oils, coffee).
