Nothing against this particular branch, I just don't get the concept of Argos in general.
Why hide all the goods out the back and make people look through large catalogs to locate said items, queue to request item and pay, and then queue again while a member of staff fetches your items from the storeroom out back - it makes no sense!!
That said, it is handy for particular household items where style isn't the top priority. They deal in practical items here and at a reasonable price.
It's also fairly near my house so saves the trek into town when I can't be bothered with crowds. read more
