We have, for many years, been fans of the design philosophy that Arhaus promotes. Needing several rooms of furniture for our new build, they were our first choice to approach. After meeting with Jeremy and Hannah at the Brentwood store, we were confident that they understood our desire to have the interior furnishings align with the woodland aesthetic that the house and landscape presented. Once the major pieces were selected, Hannah took our floor plan and laid out our selections to ensure the scale was proportionate. Hannah and Jeremy guided us through the process of determining colors, fabrics, and textures that would unify our design plan. BUYER BEWARE! I purchased a beautiful dining table, along with several other items, on November 2, 2020. The wait times were long, but it was understandable because of production problems and other various pandemic related issues. We finally received the table several months after the promised time--and it arrived damaged. Since then, they have sent a new product two additional times. Both times the table was more damaged than the original. We finally decided, at their urging, to choose a new table. The new table was on back order. Several months later they sent information that the table would be delivered, and it never was. We finally asked for a refund. It is now April 30, 2022, and we still have not received a refund. We have a damaged table they will not pick up, and they are completely ghosting me at this point. My next step is to contact the attorney general and BBB. Please please save yourself the trouble and never purchase anything from Arhaus, even if you love it. read more

Pretty, oh so pretty, but not worth the price tag. We're getting ready to redecorate our main seating room and are shopping for three matching club type chairs. Before shopping at Whole Foods, we thought we'd pop into Arhaus and see what they had to offer. We did see a couple chairs that we liked, but once we examined them closer, we were shocked at the poor construction of these chairs. They were wanting $1,000+ and when you gripped the arm rest, you could feel the wood frame. If I am going to pay over a thousand $ for a chair, I want to feel the padding that is going to give me comfort while I relax in my new chair. The sales staff was friendly and helpful, I just was not impressed with the quality of the merchandise for the price of they were asking. read more

I love Arhaus! We've worked with two different designers and they were both really good at helping us to coordinate the look we wanted. They spent a lot of time with us and listened to our ideas, concerns, and timeline. They worked with us as we came in several times and made sure we knew what the timeline for delivery might look like and when we had reward dollars to spend on our Arhaus credit card. With all that is going on with COVID 19 is they have still answered phones, relayed messages between us and the delivery service. I have been really impressed. Finally, the delivery was awesome, lots of updates on arrival time, and they were very patient and willing to move things two or three times as we tried to get the best fit for our sectional. This is the best furniture buying experience I have had in my life! I have been working with them for almost a year with space planning for a new house. Over the course of this time, I have worked with several people who have been extremely respectful, helpful, positive, and honest. Two of them even came to measure and tape out my space to make sure the furniture would fit correctly. They take their time and have excellent, well thought out suggestions. I'm not sure how long Arhaus Furniture has been around. Maybe that's because for a long time, I didn't even realize it was there! Okay, I take that back. I think, in the back of my mind, I *knew* that Arhaus existed, but I always assumed it was one of those hoity-toity-way-too-expensive-for-Stephanie type places. I mean...look at it. Even the name seems pretentious. So I've always ignored it. When it comes to furniture shopping, I'm happy at Ashley furniture (or hell, even Weekends Only! Yeah...I said it). So how did I end up at Arhaus? Well, it turns out that not everyone is as cheap as me. So when a friend was looking for a new sectional, he wanted me to tag along. He wanted a woman's opinion, which is hilarious in and of itself (hello, I shop at Kohls and am the least stylish person you will ever meet). Anyway, I was curious to see what the place was like, so I agreed to go. Arhaus, just as I expected, is pretty fancy (by my standards, anyway). Lots of interesting and expensive furniture. I was expecting to see lots of droolworthy pieces, but honestly, none of this furniture was my style. It was very "Old Money Victorian" style. Did I just make that up? I think I did. But it was very...regal. And old fashioned. Did I mention expensive? Yeah...that too. Service here was pretty awful. I'm not surprised. Two twenty-somethings -- only one of whom can actually afford the furniture (hint: not me!) -- walk into a fancy store and expect top notch service? Not going to happen. We were pretty much ignored. Womp womp. Would I come back to Arhaus? Nope. Not sure how this place stays in business...although, now that I think of it, if they sold just one piece of furniture, I'm sure that keeps the lights on for the month for them. I have done a lot of shopping at Arhaus over the years e.g. queen headboard, twin daybed, couch, leather chair and ottoman, loveseat, cherry desk, and some lamps (not all in one purchase!!!) There are many items that I admire and would love to have. That said, I do shop around at the usual suspects like C&B and PB and find overlap. And, stores like World Market often knock off some of the more established Arhaus items and Restoration hardware items (like my kitchen chairs). Sometimes, it is difficult to know who copies whom. I received a lot of help, and even a house call, from salesperson Kathleen May. She helped me make sure that my new Arhaus living room items matched my tangerine walls. They do and I receive many compliments on my living room. I'm looking for a media cabinet for my family room. Alas, everything Arhaus has tends to be super-sized, so it's not going to work for my dainty little room. My advice, watch the sales, shop around, check out floor samples and get what you like. read more

Very pricey. But I have many items from Arhaus and they all stand up to wear and tear and are built with quality. They do have a few sales a year. Their best ones are called their warehouse sales. I think they used to offer better discounts than the more recent sales. However, beware with sales at this place. They practice the tactic of increasing prices right before a sale so they can mark something with a 30% off tag. Your best bargains here are the display items. Their location is great. And their proximity to Crate & Barrel, and Restoration Hardware make it very easy to comapare prices and product lines. read more

It's like really expensive porn for obsessed indoor decor freaks - like myself. What an absolutely gorgeous store. Not only do they have a beautiful selection of furniture, they also have tons of amazing accent pieces - bowls, chandeliers, pottery - all kinds of fun pieces to have displayed in your home. The entire store is set-up so you move throughout tastefully decorated "rooms" all of them giving you great ideas of what would go with what. But don't let the displays fool you! You can customize almost everything and all pieces of furniture have swatches of other fabrics and colors attached so you can see what some other options are. I have found that everything I have purchased from Arhaus has held up very well - so has my friend, who has three kids and a dog - her couch is gorgeous after many years! All of their customized service, attentive staff and gorgeous pieces DO come at a price though - they are certainly costly. I do highly recommend them though for getting ideas on how to decorate, or if you're wanting to invest in some pieces that will last! read more

The furniture here is BEAUTIFUL. It's definitely higher end compared to Crate and Barrel, which is across the street. But that means the prices are higher, so be prepared to spend. I consider Arhaus a kicked-up Pottery Barn. Yes, the prices are a bit higher, but the items here are one-of-a-kind, therefore your favorite bedroom set or kitchen table is not apt to jump out at you from the nearest catalog. I do not consider the price points outrageous, especially if you hit it right at the sales. I ended up with a full-size, wrought iron headboard and footboard that ended up costing less than similar items I have seen at PB or Crate and Barrel. It is evident that the quality of pieces at Arhaus is high. Paige, the sales associate who helped me, went the extra mile, letting me know that the full size was out of stock, but that I could place my name on a list to ensure that I will have it once it does come in. This turned out to be an unexpected bonus, as I also spotted a cute marble bistro table and two chairs. As these pieces were must-haves, it was decided to splash out and buy them. What really sold me was the fact that there would not be any additional delivery charges (over and above the bed, which I'd already picked out) for these items. It seems to be the practice at Arhaus to essentially bundle all items for delivery, even if the items have different delivery dates. This is convenient, as my table and chairs will be delivered this week, with the bed items having an ETA of November. I have already begun to receive e-mails from Arhaus, which makes the inner interior decorator in me want to come out and play or, at the very least, stalk the sales at this store. read more

I would give this place 2 stars for price and 4 stars for selection, so 3 overall. It is very pricey, so if you're furniture shopping with a tight budget, skip Arhaus. However, if you're willing to spend a little extra, they have some very nice pieces. Overall, their style tends to be mostly country and traditional. You may find a couple contemporary accent pieces, but not much. They have some very cool accent pieces that really look one-of-a-kind and handcrafted, so if you're looking for something to fill up a bare wall or corner you might want to check this place out for something unique. read more

I don't understand why there are so many bad reviews about Arhaus on here! We've only had good experiences to date with our rockstar salesman Jeremy. Yes, Arhaus furniture is expensive, but it's very good quality. We anticipate our two couches purchased from Arhaus to be with us for the next 15+ years. Good quality furniture is worth the investment since it will be with us for much longer than a cheaper couch. Jeremy has especially been wonderful to work with. He has been to our home to measure and make suggestions for furniture on several occasions. We purchased a couch for our basement and the opening to get down the stairs is super narrow. We were very worried about any large furniture getting down our stairs, as we had a situation once at a previous house where we had to take apart the couch to get it down stairs, which was a nightmare. Jeremy came out to our home and measured for us twice before ordering and confirmed that the piece he was suggesting would fit (but it would be a very close call). Today was the day of the delivery and while the delivery guys struggled initially, sure enough, it fit!! Jeremy even stopped by today to make sure the delivery went well. Such great customer service! We will definitely be reaching out to Jeremy in the future for additional furniture needs. read more

Extremely nice and helpful salespeople. As long as furniture is in stock and arrives without damage everything will be ok. We had a damaged chair that they did not deliver. Seven months later we are still waiting for a replacement chair. If your furniture is damaged they do not give you any kind of priority order. The replacement order goes at the bottom of the pile just like a new order. Poor way to treat a repeat customer by holding onto their money for seven months with no furniture. read more

BE CAREFUL! We bought a sofa from here and the salesperson sold us on 12 months 0% interest financing for it. WRONG! Our salesperson lied to us. It was only 6 months. So out of the blue, right before I'm about to have twins, we get a bill in the mail with a balance that was even more than the sales price of the sofa! We called immediately and were told by someone in customer service that we could dispute it and that this happens often and usually they will honor the 12 months no interest financing we were pressured to do by the salesperson. WRONG AGAIN! We received a letter telling us that they would not. The fact that their customer service told me that this is a usual occurrence is bad enough. So apparently, their salespeople continually lie about these things? We called several times to both the financing company (Commenity) and to Arhaus trying to simply pay what we owed and explaining to them that we were willing to pay the cost of the sofa, but weren't going to pay the interest. Arhaus kept sending us back to the financing company and the financing company kept sending us back to Arhaus. NO ONE WAS WILLING TO ACTUALLY HELP US RESOLVE THIS. (Not to mention that someone claiming to be the owner contacted my husband directly after he left a bad review offering to help. They said they would have their customer service contact him immediately. He never received a call, email or anything from anyone and reached out to the "owner" at least 2 more times to which he got complete radio silence.) Finally, after months of being given the run around we gave up. When we received a call from Arhaus to collect a payment, I once again let them know that we would pay the price of the sofa, but were not paying the interest and FINALLY they agreed. Oh, wait, I'm not done....since then, I have had to call in an additional 2 more times because they have sent over bills for the interest they were trying to charge us to which a manager was supposed to have resolved and clearly never did. CONCLUSION: - Do not trust their salespeople! Make sure you read the fine print on any financing! - The furniture is super pricey, but a great quality, however, their customer service and overall experience with them will ruin that for you. - Lastly, I'm a firm believer that when the owner of a company doesn't take enough pride in their own company to try to provide a better experience, it's not a company worth buying from and clearly with this company, the terrible customer service is a company-wide issue. read more

After receiving wonderful service in the store, and as a result purchasing $11,000+ worth of furniture for our new home, customer service has been atrocious to say the least. Mis-issued and guaranteed rewards have not yet been received. After reaching out to the concierge 4 times without a call back which was promised each time, I spoke with a supervisor (Julie) who spent the duration of our conversation attempting to speak over me as I tried to calmly explain the situation for the 5th time. Ninety-nine percent of the time, it is an Arhaus piece. I have purchased the following: A fountain A desk An entertainment center Two relic end tables that I use as nightstands A guest bed Two lamps Three baskets A planter I use as a wastebasket Another end table that I use as a printer holder and office storage A necklace Probably more and just can't remember Yes, some call their things expensive, but I'm not one to keep buying furniture and consider them lifelong purchases that are classic and span the test of time. The Furniture here is really one of a kind. Some pieces are extremely over priced and you can usually find something better and cooler at Restoration Hardware for cheaper. We bought a floor sample recliner that was reduced more than 50% and cannot be more than happy with it. The only downfall was the sales people were not that friendly when it came time to picking up the chair. They informed us that no one in the store would help us carry out the chair or lift or anything at all. I found that odd because we didn't even ask for the info, they just flat out told us. When we did pick up the chair, the salesman was nice enough to push the recliner to the door and then proceeded to awkwardly opening up the door in a way that made no sense at all. Friendly and trying-to-be-helpful enough during the sales process, the customer service dropped off - actually outright disappeared - once the credit charge went through. I visited the local Arhaus store right before the COVID-19 pandemic. I have visited and purchased several items, usually accessories. Unfortunately, my last experience was a not so great one. I had been eyeing a couple of chairs and was interested in purchasing them that day. I also had a return as I had purchased two poufs prior, one in store and one on line. There was a significant difference between the two, thus, the reason for the return. An associate(male), handled the transaction, and during the process I inquired of the chairs of my interest. I couldn't quite remember the name associated with the chair but could vividly remember the chair as it was in the showroom. The salesperson immediately cut me off during the conversation, indicated it was probably no longer in the showroom, and proceeded to assist another customer who apparently was more relevant than myself. I must say I am highly offended by his actions. I am not the one to pull the race card, however, it was clear that race possibly socioeconomic background had played a big part in his actions as it seemed as though this other couple(White) were making a major purchase. I have called the corporate office to complain, but never heard back. I will continue my efforts in reaching out to them, but as far as purchases, I will move on to Restoration Hardware. We ordered sofas- priced above the market price but we liked the style and we were promised the world at the time of sale- including the fact that the delivery people would move our existing furniture and the sofas came with accent pillows. The sofas came 4 weeks late, there was no communication that they would be late (I had to call to find out when they would be in) and found out at delivery that the sales man sold us a bill of goods- The delivery people screamed at me when i asked them to move the existing furniture and the salesman never placed the order for the accent pillows. When i called to ask where they were he claimed the sofa didn't come with them and basically called me a liar when i reminded him that he asked me to pick out fabric for the pillows. read more

Love the unique pieces. Prices are high but the quality is very good. My only issue is the lack of QC before leaving the warehouse. I've returned more pieces than I care to mention due to a defect of some sort. Last night I picked up two high back dinning room chairs. The fabric is wide brown stripes but the stripes do not line up on the back of the chair and it looks terrible. Very irritating, and once again I have to track back to the store to switch it out. Do not buy here! We were first convinced by our salesperson Jeremy that the bad reviews about Arhaus online were unfounded and that he would make sure that we were more than satisfied customers. Due to this we decided to buy quite a few pieces from Arhaus to furnish our new home. Initially all was well. Jeremy visited our home to help suggest pieces to buy and then we went into the store and ordered a variety of pieces for our living room and dining room areas (hoping to expand later to other rooms). Although delivery on our couch and arm chair took longer than we were told we were ok with almost all of the pieces. Except...we ordered a gorgeous dining room table, bench, and four soft dining chairs. The first two deliveries sent a table that for some reason did not match at all (in color) with the corresponding bench (no indication initially that this could be the case in the store). The following two deliveries sent deformed or broken tables. Now we are currently waiting for a call back from Arhaus, who have stopped corresponding with us, and are stuck with a dining room table that rocks (although delivery guys made great pains to note the issues and deformities with the table once they set it up to Arhaus). We wish we had purchased our dining and living furniture elsewhere and if this is how customer service is at Arhaus in terms of fixing issues with ordering or products I also wish we had not paid extra for the product insurance/guarantees. We ordered our furniture in early August and it is now December. Hopefully they will resolve our issue soon, with a table that does not rock (we are over the vast color difference at this point)! I agree with other reviews on this site. The furniture is very nice, pricey but nice. This rating is for the customer service we received or have not received. We were pressured to sign up for the 0% financing instead of just paying cash. We did, however we were lied to by our sales person about the terms of the financing. 6 months after our purchase and after making payments for the 6 months we now owe more than the original cost of our purchase. We were told we had 0% for a year. Turns out it was only differed interest for 6 months so we have made over $1,500 in payments and still owe more than the original sales price. NOONE within the store is even willing to speak to us about the situation and said to talk to the finance company. The finance company says I need to speak to the store. NEVER again will I give them a dime of my money! read more

****UPDATE 3/22/16 - - - Since this review, I have received a call from the regional manager for Arhaus. She offered 3 equally acceptable resolutions to our problem. (All 3 had been suggested by us as possible resolutions, but rejected outright at the store level). We are now happy that Arhaus has taken steps to make this right, and we are getting a new table! Upgrading rating from 1 to 3 as a result. ********* 2/26/16 We recently purchased a table from Arhaus. The table had a scratch and was discounted as a result. The "manager" recommended a vendor who could fix the scratch and who did "absolutely beautiful work." We agreed to purchase the table by phone, ($1250.00) and the vendor was to pick up the table, fix the scratch, and deliver to our home for an additional $140. 2 weeks later, the vendor delivered a table covered in overspray and a thick coat of high gloss polyurethane. The entire table had been absolutely ruined. The vendor blamed Arhaus, Arhaus said they had nothing to do with it. Further, after multiple conversations, Arhaus' "manager," Matthew, was extremely insulting and rude. He insinuated that we were liars and that our "story didn't seem to make sense." He explained that it wasn't Arhaus' problem, since we bought a floor sample. That is, until he called a week later to explain that he, too, personally also experienced damage and fraud from the same vendor - at which time he asked if I would be willing to collaborate in filing charges with the police or perhaps joint small claims. He maintained that he was in fact the manager of the store and there was no one else I could speak with to try to find a reasonable solution. We offered at least 3 suggestions of how we could meet in the middle of this unusual situation. He rejected all, and dismissed us. When I called their corporate offices, I learned that he was not in fact the manager, and that at no time had he relayed to anyone else our plight. We remain stuck with a destroyed table, and although we spent over $1500.00 so far on this table, the true manager of the store has offered only $100.00. This doesn't even begin to cover what it will cost to try to fix this piece. The thing that has been most disturbing is Arhaus' complete abandonment of customer service. We would expect a reputable company to "make good." We have gotten completely ripped off, and it still remains unclear who is at fault. Arhaus should, on principle and an interest in maintaining a solid reputation, make good on this terrible experience. It is embarrassing how awfully Arhaus treated us after we purchased a chandelier from them. First, we were told three separate times over two months that our chandelier would be there before it was actually there. Then they told my fiancé that they would not be able to help her put in the car. I am not sure what the reasoning is behind this, but I do know that Dierbergs offers to help their customers out to the car and they do not sell $1000 chandeliers. Then, after we had the chandelier installed, we were missing four crystals. We spoke with our sales rep and she said that she would get back to us the next day, and she did... two days later, only to tell us that they do not have them in the store, and that they will have to get them shipped in. All this time we have not heard, "I am sorry" or "How can we rectify this for you?". This is truly one place that could care less after you give them your money! read more

The furniture is high quality and is beautiful!! Too bad the same can't be said for the customer service. We bought a whole bedroom from Arhaus about 18 months ago. They never got my husbands name right even after asking them to correct it 3 times. This sale for the bedroom came to about $13,000! We visited Arhaus recently to look for a sofa and were told by the sales person pointing in the direction where something was. Other than that, no more help was offered. We found a coffee table that we liked but weren't sure it was what we wanted so decided to come back if we wanted it. After leaving I remembered that there was an anniversary sale going on and called back to see when the sale ended. After navigating the extensive phone access, I waited on hold as long as I could (about 20 minutes) for the consierge then left a message telling them that I just needed to know when the sale ended and left my phone number stating that if I didn't answer please leave the information on voice mail. That was a week ago and I'm still waiting!!! I tried calling again today and once again waited for the consierge about 30 minutes on hold. This is not inexpensive furniture and I've received better service at Weekends Only!!! Not the same quality but certainly better service! I'm so disappointed in Arhaus as I really do like their products but when they can't even get a name spelled right and can't return a simple phone call, one has to believe that they are not interested in keeping me as a customer. Guess if I need to know when the sale ends I'll just have to drive in to the store! That's really not acceptable! read more
