This is a bargain! So the hot rocks is a super hot rock slab where you cook your own meat. We both chose the ribeye steaks (I was also tempted by the duck breast). It was a really interesting experience. You get to cook your meat to your liking however you have to deal with spitting fat and smoke at your table. The whole pace was smoky as there were other tables enjoying their hot rock meal. The sides I had where chunky chips and onion rings. My brother had the chilli cheese fries which were so good. Even though we were full we managed dessert. I sort of regretted that but it was lovely. Anyone looking for good food in Dunfermline I'd recommend here.

To start with I had the caprese salad, which is impossible to do wrong and tasted fine, although the plate was dusted with what I think was paprika, which I found odd. For my main course I had carbonara, and although it was a lunch menu, the portion was tiny and left me hungry, even though I've tasted much better carbonaras. That plate was also dusted, as was Colin's bolognese, so I think they do it just for effect but it doesn't really add anything and looks a but silly. The food was fine. It's a decent place for lunch, but their dinner prices looked a bit pricey for the quality of food they were producing. I'd probably come back for lunch but not much else.
