Went to try this one out last night, they have done a beautiful job with the renovation since being a pub. There aren't many tables and the two groups of 8 just about filled the joint. That being said we never felt like we were yelling to be heard. When we first sat down and started to read the menu we realized that we didn't have any idea what these dishes with traditional Korean names might be or where to start. The owner/manager must have noticed us all searching names of dishes on our phones as he came over to share with us and make sure that we were comfortable with the menu. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered and were served very quickly and the food was so hot you could hear the skillet sizzle as they put my meal in front of me. Friendly staff, get greeted as soon as you walk in. Staff are attentive, clears and refills without asking. Atmosphere is authentic to the cuisine, almost too authentic. Some seats are awkward to sit on, I guess it's how it is in South Korea? Food is amazing, very value-rich. read more

Been here twice and enjoyed myself both times! Today we had ramen that was so delicious. I would highly recommend ordering it as it is cheap but a huge portion. My only complaint is that I can't get it delivered! read more

Well appointed and clean restaurant, nice and very helpful staff. The portions were very generous, fresh and delicious. We had bi-bimbap, seaweed salad and some nice tsingtao beer.... Everything was just outstanding! read more

First time in Arirang Korean BBQ in Medicine Hat. Inside the restaurant looks good, just a little bit creepy especially when someone is walking or running upstairs, i know there is an apartment upstairs. Food, i tried the teriyaki chicken, when i got it, its on zizzling plate and it looks delicious, but i notice that it is full of sprout and cabbage then the chicken is about 9-10 small pcs only, teriyaki sauce is a little bit salty for me, i mean i tried other teriyaki chicken in other restaurant of course it taste different. Waiting time is ok, not too long, maybe because its not busy when i dine in. In the middle of my eating, i noticed that its to hard to eat properly, its like i am reaching my plate too far, its because i am really too far, where im sitting at is my seat is a little too far from the table, i mean im not short but its just too far, or the table is a little bit small i dont know. I like the lamp though, it gives more asian looks. Staff are very friendly, greeting you right away from the moment you enter the door (ik korean). Over all, its good and affordable, i think it is a kid friendly too(i dont know, i dont have kids). This just my opinion, i like iPho better when it comes to serving and My seats thats bothers me, im not comfortable eating that time, i have to sit at the edge of the seat.
