The congregation is welcoming and inviting. With three worship service times, the schedule is prompt and structured and gives flexibility to your particular time availability. Wednesday evening classes, too, with a meal served. Also, online services even on snow days. First Arnold has a large children's ministry for all ages. There is usually a sermon series title that is followed for several weeks which is a Biblical learning time and always evangelistic. Christian opportunities abound at First Baptist Arnold.

This is not church!…read more Just left our first and last service with this "church". More time was spent talking about tithing than was spent on the Word. My kids even came out of kid camp to say "Wow! We loved it, we played Madden the whole time!". Then we were shocked to learn pastor was in Florida and the service was televised to us. I watched Church on a screen....I could have stayed home for that. No mention of this on their website of course.

Churches on Yelp, now this is interesting... Of course I'm going to give my own church a 5-star…read morerating. Pastor Rall gives one awesome sermon and so does Pastor Wilson. This is not a mega-church, it's your typical neighborhood congregation, which is why I love it so. They mostly stick to traditional Lutheran church service but do have maranatha Sundays with - what I like to call - hippie church music (acoustic guitar, etc). I will note that I still miss the blue hymnals, but what good old Lutheran doesn't? (Garrison Keillor has some good jokes on this). Everyone here is very friendly and they have a good variety of bible studies and other activities, if that's your thing. Sunday services are at 8:00 and 10:45am, Monday evening service at 7:00pm - communion is offered at each service. This is a Missouri Synod Lutheran (LCMS) church, you Wisconsin'ers are welcome to worship elsewhere :-)
