They need immediate help. He was referred to this practice by another doctor who could not see him because he was not a drug user. I've been very pleased with the care I've gotten from Dr. Menninger, especially in managing my medication. He was extremely helpful and concerned when I developed tardive dyskinesia (TD) from Abilify, which had been prescribed by my former doctor. It turned out I had been taking it at a high dose for quite a long time, and Dr. Menninger thought I should discontinue it. When I did, the TD symptoms showed up (involuntary mouth and facial movements that were obvious and annoying). He's been very good about working with me and my neurologist in coordinating care as I've been treated for the TD symptoms. Dr. Menninger is cautious and conservative when it comes to medication, which I very much appreciate after my experience with Abilify. I see him regularly, although only every few months, to check in on how things are going with my medications. These are short appointments and somehow there's no co-payment for them with my medical plan, so I certainly like that! During appointments Dr. Menninger takes his notes on his computer as he goes along. It seemed odd, at first, as I wasn't used to that, but now I don't notice it, and being "connected" Dr. Menninger can rapidly find and print out studies and articles on various issues for you while you're sitting in his office, which is very handy. All in all, definitely recommended!

It is a non for profit group that only asks for small donations when you can making it easy for anyone to participate. Having a feeling of fitting in and belonging when it feels you are most alone with your struggles is life saving. Another great part is even though it is the Depression and Bipolar support, the group welcomes all type of mental conditions including anxiety, insomnia, ADHD, and others that may or may not be associated with depression or bipolar.

The therapist is wonderful, but this is wrong. My insurance company has added them to a list of "uncooperative providers" but that doesn't pay my rent or my groceries or my untilities etc. Front desk staff is great as well. The problem is with billing. I have the proof, I've sent the proof, but I guess I am out of luck.

The aquatherapy with Ian at PAM is excellent!…read more This was my 2nd experience with physical therapy, but Ian's inventiveness led me to learn many different movements I can do in the water to strengthen my core (which he showed me how to find next to my navel) muscles in a fun way. My first workout was mild, but Ian built the intensity slowly over several sessions, so that the last 2 sessions I had left me feeling the endorphins for about 24 hours after the workouts, which is so close to being completely pain free so that even my husband noticed how much happier I was after the aquatherapy. Do NOT let fear of the water intimidate you from taking advantage of this wonderful resource! In the same way race horses are toned in water tanks for racing, you can rebuild your strength with aquatherapy! And, lastly, the folks at the front desks are always friendly and happy to see you, even though this facility is quite busy with patients who stay and patients that come daily. I am so glad I was willing to drive the 50 minutes it takes me to get there for these sessions every week.

Their team of physicians were so amazing. Megan, the CEO knew how much my grandmother enjoyed Christmas so she without hesitation approved our family decorating her room. And we enjoyed our last Christmas with her. The staff from nursing, dietary and housekeeping were all personable and kind. I was especially happy with Jonathan in transportation.
