I don't know what I expected out of a German casino, but this place wasn't terribly exciting if you…read moreare expecting anything like Vegas-style gaming. All the slots are video, the roulette is video, and while I heard they have Blackjack and Poker on weekends, we didn't see those games anywhere. There is an unappealing bar area with overpriced drinks (ok, that resembles an American casino). Despite reading in various places that there was a jacket and tie requirement here, most of the patrons did not adhere to that dress code. The 1 Euro admission fee isn't large, but felt a little insulting when you're going to be losing money in the casino anyway.
Completely overpriced, and definitely not a 4-star hotel, but a scam!…read more I booked two "comfort" double rooms with King sized bed. The corridor outside the room smelled rather unpleasant. When we opened the door to the room we were shocked to find a large white empty room, with one king-sized bed in the corner next to the window. There was no sofa / table for lounging, there was not desk, there was no chair -- not even a telephone in the room. It looked very unpleasant, like a hospital room. There were also no towels in the bathroom. We immediately cancelled. Don't waste your money on the Dormero - there are better options nearby.

Honestly, I have never experience anything like it...and I travel a LOT! No phones in the room? Anytime I needed anything I had to leave my room, take the elevator down 16 floors, walk to the front desk and make a request. And we needed a lot! Not enough pillows (2), not enough towels, broken hairdryer, no phone, etc. Room was clean...that's about it.
This is a clean middle Road hotel. Very conveniently located to where I needed to be during my stay…read moreso it worked out. I love the fact that the gym was on the same floor that I was on which made it very convenient for me to go work out every day. I do not know how that parking situation was, but I heard people say they ran out of space. Overall a nice place and super convenient.
The bedrooms are poorly designed. The twin beds are so close together that it might as well be a…read moresingle bed. The nightstands are attached to the wall on the outside of the beds so there's no way to separate them. Most people renting rooms with two beds do so because they don't want to sleep that close to the person they're rooming with. The nightstand should be between the beds or movable.
