It's generally clean, service is fine, if not a bit spotty at time, and the food is good enough and comes quickly, though sometimes entire pages of the menu will be unavailable for whatever reason.

Usually, food stops during tours are "touristy" (for a lack of a better word) BUT Santa Terza proves that wrong. If there is one thing you have to order, it's their coxinhas. Usually, bakeries take shredded chicken and mold it into the shape of a drumstick, cover it in dough and either back or fry it. At Santa Tereza, they use an actual chicken drumstick! My friends and I still regret not buying a bag to go, as it was impossible finding another bakery in town and Rio that makes their coxinhas like Santa Tereza. Of course they do sell the shredded chicken coxinha at Santa Tereza. They sell many types of baked goods but I highly recommend sampling their pao de queijo.

There are a few tables downstairs, but the buffet is upstairs, which has plenty of tables and a good variety of items to choose from. The only problem, sometimes, is getting noticed by a waiter to order a drink. At this point, I'm kind of used to eating my food first and having my coffee and/or juice come when I'm pretty much finished eating. A major plus if you go by car is that they have free, validated parking in the adjacent parking lot.
